Selling Mobile Sites Offline - How easy is it?

I have been umming and ahhing about setting up offline mobile sites for clients and wondered how many Warriors are doing this and how they are getting on?

I have seen a lot of WSOs lately with this concept or something similar and wondered how easy it actually is to sell

Also do you sell it on a one time fee?
Or monthly basis? Yearly?

Would be really interested to know

    I have been selling mobile sites to local businesses. It is not easy mainly because it involves cold calling. You need the gift of the gab for this one.

    I do monthly plans starting at £20 a month and some set up fees for design etc.

    If you can do the numbers then this is a profitable business to get into. There are so many small businesses that don't have mobile, such as pizza takeaways etc.

    I have also seen a whole bunch of businesses that don't have any website at all. This led to another income stream, either by outsourcing site design and mobile design (depending on how much you charge) or do it your self WP sites, which can work.

    All in all a worth while business but you need super confidence to succeed.

      Really useful! Thanks for sharing. I already know how to build mobile sites and am looking for a way to incorporate emailing rather than cold calling but I know cold calling works very well just need the courage to do it and sink my teeth in. Also considering outsourcing this part and just handling the face to face stuff

    we have done 20+ last two months; they are quick to setup; but getting businesses to understand they need one can be the challenge; many just dont get it! hah; so you have to physically show them if possible

      Hey, I used to be scared of cold calling; mostly because of what I had heard about it. But in reality, you need to focus on how your helping them out. You're giving them a chance to stop losing customers who access their site through mobile...Also, I used to think people would be mean, if you're just nice they can really only be nice back. After all, if they are mean to a nice person, what's wrong with them?! Lol. Good Luck! Be confident, if you have to fake confidence, don't worry, they'll never know!
