It's my 1,000th post. What I've learned in a nutshell

*sniff, sniff*

Not so long ago I was but an innocent (and rather stupid) newb, if I do say so myself. In the 2 and a half years I've been here, I have learned a huge amount of stuff and have had much help (and a few flames lol), along the way.

I'm going to say everything cliche, so tune out for this part if you don't want to read it

  • Never stop learning
  • Don't stop when you make a mistake, pick it up and run with it
  • Don't be afraid of trying something new
  • Ask questions and lots of them
  • Have a thick skin. This is business yo
  • Don't strive for perfection, it's not necessary. If you do get it perfect though then hell yeah!
  • Don't pretend you're something you're not. Round peg>square hole anybody?
  • Be flexible
  • Don't stay up until 2am on the Warrior Forum. It turns into a pumpkin.
  • Watch out for that Bill Platt character :p - Kidding
I'm not going to make this a novel, because, well, that's just boring. So I would like to thank a few Warriors that have helped me in my journey thus far.

  • Tina Golden
  • TPW (of course!)
  • Travlinguy
  • Colin Palfrey (for getting me started with my passion for writing!)
  • Audrey Harvey
If I've missed anyone, my thanks go to you too, you all rock!

Good post, the only thing you might want to add is to stay focused and not jump around from one thing to the next.

Well put Charlotte. Short but succinct . . . punchy nevertheless.

Unfortunately there are plenty of those on WF although the word 'hole' is usually preceded by
a subgenus of Equus when fully describing them.

Thanks for the share. What I'm curious about though is that there are many ways of making money online... do you specialize now or are you more of an all-rounder kind of gal? Congrats on your wedding !
