Alternative to Amazon Affiliate?

I found out that Amazon does not let people from certain states become Affiliates. I want to start a comparison site to sell products like those found on Amazon. Any ideas?

Check out skimlinks or viglink, they both support amazon.

Skimlinks is a pretty good option. I use them, though I am not in a non Amazon state like California. I am not 100%, but I think Skimlinks also does eBay affiliate sales too.

just promote purely physical products! The payouts are very high and the competition for exact matches on the product name are usually low! Check out markethealth and moreniche among others. You can still compare products that are aimed at the same niche. you could compare 4 diet pills (one may be from moreniche, one from market health and 2 from shareable for example)

Physical products are awesome in my humble opinion.

By the way you don't have to get an EMD on the product name if you r worried about copyrights. It can be an inner page in your site and it ranks just as well!

Yep - Try direct Affiliate Offers. Commission Junction is a good venue and some of the recent high conversion offers I have promoted come from there

Looks like nobody mentioned it here but you can open an LLC in a different state, rent a PO box or UPS box there and apply as an LLC from that state. Hope this helps.

As someone mentioned, you could check out Skimlinks or CJ. Personally, I also promote Best Buy and Walmart on some of my sites.

Interesting. Amazon is the number one preferred site fo customers to make a purchase and worldwide 85% of customers are happy to make a transaction with Amazon. It is quite common to have such principles as there might be some valuable reason to avoid particularly.

I have tried amazon and works great with conversions. Customers end up buying anything there. My problem there is that amazon does not support direct deposit to my country.

Does your own country have an Amazon? If so, you should be able to get direct deposit. Or you could use Payoneer, though there are fees involved.

There is an Amazon in my country but my account is with amazon affiliates in USA. I have discused with them about this, and all they say only payment by check is enabled for my county. I would not have a problem but banks here at my county are very picky about international checks specially from US. Just imagine this, I am trouble trying to change my 200 dls check from my first payment. Now imagine trying to change a 2000 check.
