I've heard that you need a payment processor to handle the sales for you? If that's the case? What should I use, ejunkie?

edit: Or is WSO Pro all I need?

  • If I were you, I'd take 20-30 minutes and stroll through the WSO section and see what everyone else there is using. I think you'll find that the majority of people use Warrior Plus.

  • Thanks man!

Can I ask then, what's the difference between Wso Pro and Warrior Plus?

  • Payment processing for WSO's is a topic into itself. You can use E-junkie, but using a more popular platform like WSO or JVZoo allows affiliates to promote your product much easier. If you want affiliates to promote your product, E-junkie isn't really the best.

    • You don't need to use any of those third-party processors unless you want to. They have some benefits but they're not required.

You can run a WSO with a plain old PayPal button, if you want to.

e-Junkie is not a payment processor, Harith: it's a product delivery method.

You can use it in conjunction with PayPal, Google Checkout, Authorize.net, TrialPay, 2Checkout or ClickBank (whichever you have or open an account with), but it doesn't itself offer payment processing facilities.

    Good luck!

  • I would have recommended Clickbank but it's a pain in the ass to get products approved by them now days, so I'd have to say warriorplus is definately the way to go if your just starting out.

    • For a WSO Clickbank is a bit excessive ...unless the WSO is just a test to see how the offer converts and then have a big launch on Clickbank.
I think the best idea is to stick with WSO Pro or JvZoo.
  • warrior plus is very easy to use, and it takes care of everything(product delivery, integration with your autoresponder and payment through paypal), and it even shows your product to potential affiliates.
  • A payment processor is definitely not needed. You can give your WSO away for free.
  • Fellas, there is a difference between a payment processor and a product fulfillment gateway.

WSO Pro, e-junkie, JV Zoo etc. handle the delivery of the products.

Paypal, Google Checkout etc. are payment processes and they move the money around.

EDIT: Yes, you need a payment processor to receive money.

Now if you want to track your sales and conversion, run an affiliate program, deliver the product after the payment is made etc. then I would recommend using warrior plus or JV Zoo
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Yes, a payment processor is vital unless you plan on giving your product away for free. The most popular payment processor and the one I would recommend you use is Paypal. It's well known and trusted by most.

In regards to delivering your item, that's up to you. There are several product fulfillment services on the market nowadays that cater specifically to WSO products. Warrior Plus, DigiResults and JVZoo are probably the 3 most popular at the moment. Which one you choose depends on what you need to do.

I would most certainly recommend using one of those product fulfillment services because it then allows affiliates to promote your products which is a big part of the equation.
