A much better and user friendly JV/Affiliate interface.. Most importantly the ability to email your JV's in one hit from within the interface. Both WF and to a lesser degree JV Zoo lack this feature and it would make an immense difference to me as a WSO Seller to have this feature.

I have a list of ideas that I would love to share with you. Please PM me if you need any more help.

I am interested to understand why you are asking.

    Cheers

One reason I took my products off JV Zoo was of the inability of affiliates to promote my site as a whole to customers. They had to promote individual products instead of my whole site. I had multiple complaints about this. So I bought my own software to enable my affiliates more freedom in the way promote my site and products.

        Hello Robna,

What software do you use for your Affiliates/JV partners?

I need one my self, please.

        Kennedy.

Perhaps he wants to develop his own script which will do a similar thing.

You might want that but a lot of your affiliates will not. I hope we don't see this feature introduced. I get enough 'spam' via PM in this forum, I don't also need it from people whose products I choose to promote.

WillR is correct on this one. A feature like that is too easy to abuse, and that is why you won't see it happening on WarriorPlus. I would guess other providers would have a similar stance.

The "affiliate bonus" idea, though, that is a good one, and is in the works for us.

      I second that.
I have a plugin that automatically delivers bonuses for Clickbank products, but when it comes to W+, JVzoo or many other platforms bonus delivery cannot be automated, but it would be a great feature.

We just wrapped that up about two days ago and it should go live at some point today

They can promote your site as a whole as long as you allow them to be approved for all your products. Just set them to "approve for all" and they can promote them as well as be cookied to any other product on your site they purchase at the same time

This. I would love this feature to come into play. I can't imagine how many more customers I'd have with this feature and how much happier my customers would be...please create this feature ASAP!

I third that one - because of potential abuse (which you know will happen), Digibilly doesn't allow direct email either. However, there are an assortment of notifications that Affiliates can opt into (off by default), including new product notifications from Merchants they're affiliates for.

We do support Affiliate Bonus Delivery to customers also have a "Super Affiliates" status that automatically makes their referral work for every product a Merchant has on a site.

Here's a bit more info if anyone is curious...

[EDIT]I should have mentioned we're not live yet[/EDIT]

You know the biggest feature I believe is needed and will only become even more important over the next year or two is the ability to support a payment processor other than Paypal. It's certainly no secret Paypal is not a fan of this business model on a whole. In my eyes it's not a matter of 'if' but 'when' the bubble completely bursts.

If this WSO forum is still around in a year or two (lets hope it is) I can almost certainly see very minimal use of Paypal by then. I'm predicting a slow migration back over to a processor such as Clickbank as it's still one of very few payment portals who will happily take on a lot of the risk associated with the types of products being sold in this forum - in which case a lot of these product delivery systems will become somewhat redundant.

In fact if Clickbank were to be more realistic with their refund policies then I think they could definitely steal a LOT of the business from this WSO forum back over to their marketplace.

Yes! This is what I am thinking about.

Few weeks ago I started to create my own script to accept paypal payments with most of W+ features like different price, split test and etc but everyday visiting WF allowed me to realize that it will be useless. There are some missing features in W+, JVZoo, DigiResults and etc. They are not perfect.

2ebizman: We don't need another JVZoo. We need money gateway provider like PayPal. Think about it.

Probably because PayPal is currently the only system that has a reliable API to do what's needed.

Over the years I've worked with a lot of payment processing systems developing ecommerce solutions and none of them come even close to what PayPal has. And in their case, even PayPal doesn't make easy to develop a platform like this, as I'm sure others know.

At present, the only other solution is to develop a platform where, for example, I'd be the seller (like ClickBank) on behalf of all merchants. That's not going happen - far too much liability and risk these days.

I'd agree with that, but I suspect CB is going to become even more rigid in what they approve, simply because they're the seller and assume liability on behalf of the merchant.

We have a secondary platform I've been co-developing with Digibilly that supports a range of non-PayPal processors, but it's not an Instant Commission system.

That's also taking far longer to develop because there are no standards in how the payment processors approach things (like IPN's for example).

That's one of the things people (affiliates) are going to need to start getting their heads around, I think. The days of instant commission payments are limited. To be perfectly honest I am fine with that. So long as I get the money I am owed I don't care if it's in a few weeks time. I understand about how proper business works and the risk payment processors face, etc. It's only understandable they should want to sit on the money before handing it over... especially in an industry such as this one.

The people who will be affected most by a change like that are those who rely solely on the promotion of other people's products for their incomes and as we know that's never going to be an income you can depend on.

I have posted on that very question of why WSO vendors as well as 'Warriors For Hire' do not have alternative payment processors. A lot of people (me included would not touch Paypal under any circumstances so most things on the forum don't get bought by me).

          That I don't agree with - but we're looking at a broader/mainstream market rather than WSO's/IM.

True enough, but they don't have to be - as long as they're not evolving in a bubble.

With exceptions (mainly being limitations imposed by payment processors), almost anything is possible.

By the way, here is another feature I would like to see. I've asked Mike a few times but he says it's not possible because some people offer services where people might buy something more than once.

I have probably had about 20-30 refunds I have had to process over the last year that were nothing more than people who purchased my product more than once. They might buy it, put it to the side, forget about it and then come back and purchase again weeks or months later.

Not only does this unnecessarily affect my reputation with Paypal but it also increases my published refund rate through no fault of my own.

I would have thought it's quite easy to add an option for each product where the product owner is allowed to select if that product should be allowed for repeat purchase... ie: more than once. If I select 'No' then when someone tries to purchase who already has, it will come up with a message letting them know and with their details on how to access the product they have already paid for.

This happened to me again twice the last week. One person had purchased my same product THREE times and another person bought it for the second time.

I am certain something can be done about this and I think it really needs to.

    Unnecessary refunds don't help anyone.
