Ever get clients from Craigslist?

Ive been working on getting more clients in general and I was wondering if doing work for people on Craigslist would be worth it? If you have went through a craigslist purchase or sell item`s/services on craigslist I would love to hear from you your opinion. Thank you for your time Warrior forum

    I tried back in December to pick up a few writing clients through craigslist. I ended up getting one guy out of it, and he didn't become a long term customer. I didn't bother after that.

      I guess it all depends on what you are promoting because I pick up offline clients, HIGH paying monthly offline clients each and every week by promoting on CL.

      I actually found quite a few long-term local clients from Craigslist when I was a freelance writer. Maybe I just got lucky but I placed an ad in my city only and was contacted multiple times. Only a few worked out but it was enough. I know people who place ads in multiple cities for writing work and stay pretty busy.

    I plan on trying it out soon. I've heard different opinions as to whether the people looking at CL are willing and/or able to pay good rates. Some people report good results from it and others report rather poor results. I think it may have to do with which cities/regions you are posting to.
