What is your magic hour?

What would be your magic hour in sending email to your list and you got the most response from them? Or what would be the magic hour for you to have the most traffic to your website or blog? Let's take US time as a standard.

Really appreciate if you willing to share as I'm new in Internet Marketing. Thanks

I tend to send emails to my list last thing at night UK time usually at 11pm which I believe is about 7pm USA time (where most of my list is based). I only send relevant content to my list and promote products that will be of benefit to as many as I can and specify details about which group this email relates to within my emails. As I get regular feedback from my subscribers it helps me keep on top of things.

Thanks for the sharing. I thought usually it would be in the morning as everyone will check their emails before work? This is the culture in my country but i'm not sure about others.

I think more people actually sit down at the computer in the evening to check their emails more so than in the morning. Mornings are so busy - when I was working full-time I would quick check my email if I had time but after dinner, etc. is when I would actually sit down in front of the computer and take time to read all of my email. Of course, I was in front of a computer at work all day long so I had access to my email from there too.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Think about this - If you got a phone call, letter, or post card from a dear friend or loved one, would you not try to take it then and there?

The key here is to have such a relationship with your subscribers that they eagerly look forward to your emails and will open them - regardless of the time of day you send them.

I'm located in Georgia, which is in the Eastern time zone in the US. The US is actually in 5 different time zones, so you have to be more specific...we're a fairly large country.

When I was doing Facebook marketing, I got the best responses if I posted at 9A, noon, and 6P. Those times correspond to when people get settled in at work, go to lunch, and get home from work. Most things I posted at other times were largely missed by my audience.

I prefer sending e-mails after returning from my day job. I can't sit before pc on day so I just send mails and wait for reply. As I don't have a long list of friends so I don't have to wait much.

I prefer sending emails before I started my daily job. So that I can monitor the results when I'm free. I believe everyone of us have our own ways to do. Just to figure it out when is the best time and what is the best way

You can experiment. If I were you, I would test "Reachability Rate" of my prospects by sending emails on different hours of the day. Then, I'll tally the results in an Excel sheet. I would run this for a month so I can do pivoting by the end of the month. You can them make graphical representations.

If you're using a software in blasting those emails, your software might have a feature in place where you can export the data to an Excel file. That should make your work easier.
