Welcome to the forum, Daniel. Since you are focusing on Building Niche Website with Adsense to monetize, I would advice you to stick to it and do not try another money making method until you have made money with Adsense. When I first started, I was just hopping around from ListBuilding to SEO to PPC because there were just too many things involved in Internet Marketing. It wasn't until I focus on 1 method to make money, tweaked the method every now and then to perfection that I started making money online.

Welcome to WF. It's good to know that you are actively working to get out of the 9-5. Trust me, it's very doable. You'll find everything you need to know to replace and exceed your income right here on WF.

I second what Rose said about information overload. There is an abundance of knowledge here and it's very easy to get overwhelmed very quickly especially if you try and tackle a lot of topics at once. Many people are going to tell you to find something and stick with it...it's to your benefit to follow that advice (but anyone who's been here a while knows you won't, and it's ok...we've all been there and made it out alive, knowledge is power.)

I got my start in IM by writing an ebook. This is a form of product creation. I've progressed in product creation over the years and I focus almost of my time on it. It's a very simple thing to do and will provide you more money faster than trying to set up an affiliate or adsense site.

WARNING: Avoid setting up an adsense site as your first endeavor. It isn't that difficult to initially set up but it takes a good long while to start earning real revenue and the payout will be very small. This will lead to a lot of frustration and will make you start to doubt IM and your ability to make money online. Sure, alot of people make money with them but they usually have several sites and have been at it for quite some time.

I think that most experienced Warriors will agree that you should focus on product creation if you want to make the big bucks. Through that process you will learn many other parts of IM that will fit into the equation. You will learn all about the affiliate process, however instead of being an affiliate promoting other people's products, you will have an army of affiliates promoting your products for you (way more profitable). Also you will build for yourself a nice list and will learn how to use it to make a LOT more money.

You'll learn the ropes of how to run a real business online. You'll meet a lot more people and will quickly become an authority in your niche. This is the true path to wealth. And it's a whole lot easier than you think.

There are many many people here on the forum that are experienced and will help you through your journey. Connect with the people here. Befriend them. Provide value to them and they will return the favor. These people here can change your life, truly.

Welcome, as you can see I am fairly new and I launched my second wso today... but it took a LOT OF READING, RESEARCH.... treat this as a college degree, it will pay off. Make sure you don't make the mistakes I made, read the rules first, lol. Good luck and enjoy!

Welcome to WF. I am still fairly new here myself, but I admittedly find myself doing more reading than posting. I will say it is amazing what information you will pick up just from the hundreds of thousands upon thousands of threads.

Try not to get too overwhelmed, and more importantly, try not to get too sidetracked. I have to keep reminding myself that there is work to do. LOL.

AdSense is a great way to get going in IM - because it's so easy to use it'll free up more time to build and then promote your site.

One thing about niche sites - don't make them too small. Google is tending to like slightly larger sites these days for search engine ranking, so I would choose a topic you can keep adding to.
