Monster.com vs Craigslist Job Listing?

Does anyone have any experience or any useful stats on reach for Monster? Specifically, how many views an average job listing receives vs. a similar market on Craigslist. Does Monster allow syndication to Indeed and SimplyHired?

Just wondering if it's worth more to spend on Monster or for a paid listing on Craigslist for legitimate job listings...

Any help would be wonderful. Thanks!

Erm, Craigslist it THE most popular US classifieds ads site, so for general reach this would be the best however it depends on which city you're in etc.
You could also try backpage.com maybe?

      Hope this helps

        Why not do both?

I know your asking for statistics of which I have none, but just post on both and gather your own data. It's not like it's difficult and will take very long.

Although I would lean towards Craigslist.

I have found 3 jobs useing craigslist, Monster is getting useless, employers are too demanding on requirements, and its almost 1 in 100 resumes get responded to if even.
