Pinterest Marketing Ideas

I've recently seen a surge in my site traffic from marketing on Pinterest.

According to my GA plug in, my site went from 16 UV from 126 UV almost overnight. (Nothing epic by any means, but it's a great start for me)

Seeing as I learned so much from the forum, I wanted to list what I've been doing to help out the noobs and give back a little.

  • Get an invite and set up an account (PM me if you need an invite)
  • Go to Fiverr and buy 500 followers for $5 (incredible deals on that site BTW)
  • Read the tutorials on Pinterest and put the "pin it" doohickey on your toolbar
  • When you update your blog/site with new content (should be often and you should have different pics/videos associated with every post) click on the "pin it" icon on your toolbar and put one of your featured images into the board of your choice.
  • Try to do this once a day with videos/posts new pics etc..
  • When other people repin, follow or like your pin immediately follow them (It can be tedious...but it seems to be working)
  • Sit back and watch the traffic roll in

I'm no Pinterest marketing expert by any means, but hopefully this will help some of you guys out there.

Hopefully a lot of targeted traffic to the niche you're promoting

Step 2: post to Pinterest, Facebook and send it out anywhere you think will post it and link back to you. Pro tip: use your Pinterest page as the backlink.
Should you always use your pinterest page as the backlink or maybe mix it up with your blog/site for the backlink?

There's no rocket science to using Pinterest. You just need great images and/or videos.

Here's my process for blog curation:

Do 4 blog posts a day. I use a tool I developed that creates graphic images in seconds for blog posts, so there is no need to scour the internet for royalty-free images or pay for them.

Use one of the keywords from the niche keyword list to help achieve better rankings in Google and referral traffic from Pinterest.

Pin the blog post image on Pinterest, share the blog post on Facebook page, and Tweet the post as well.

That's pretty much the process I use for each niche blog.

Hey Teri - Would love to see this image creator!

      What does it do?

      Thanks Teri!

Is that 4 blog posts a day on one blog?

That's basically what I'm doing also, but what is this tool that generates images for posts? Sounds awesome

Will you share or even sell it?
