I actually regularly read 3 of the sites you mentioned.
It always gets me motivated to see the kind of success these guys have achieved.

Talking of digital nomads, I'll soon be joining their ranks Joe.

Today I'm fitting 3x 80w solar panels to the roof of my motorhome. And inside, it's just about ready to go (self conversion).

In a couple of weeks time, I'm heading off on an extended 12 month vacation to explore continental Europe. UK, France, Andorra, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia before heading down to Greece before heading back up north again.

The solar panels on the roof supplying me with all the power I need to take my business on the road.

Thanks for the inspiring reads on the links above. Much appreciated.

        That sounds awesome Mark.

If I had to drive across my country in a motorhome, I'd probably finish my vacation in a day or two, because I live on an very small island

P.S. For the curious minds, the island is Mauritius.

Call it advance SEO lol. Not created the site yet. Must do it in the next day or two, even if it's just the basic framework.

You need a solar powered submarine. Now that'd be cool. Cruising around the Pacific, all those tropical paradise coral reefs to explore - you could have a whale of a time!

Right, 'tis time to go fit these solar panels to the roof of the old girl, reminder to self... buy more Sikaflex 291i. (Super strong marine adhesive and sealant for the 3" aluminium angle / fixing brackets I cut a few days ago to fix to the fibreglass roof).

By the way I say motorhome just for my own vanity, it sounds better. In truth...

...she's an old long wheel base hightop van converted inside by me. Everything is very basic and rugged. Converted the whole lot out of recycled materials. Carpentry not being my strong point lol.

It's an LDV LWB Hiloader 2.5TD similar to this one here...

Albeit this one looks quite posh compared to mine. She (Tom) she's an old chugger rather than a sprinter, lots of low end grunt and torque. A bit like me actually lol - a match made in heaven.

          Warmest regards,
