That depends..you want to buy one or you want to sell one? Asking because both actions are against FB TOS..

Why would you want to? Surely the whole point of getting likes is getting likes from people that are actually interested in what you have to offer.

You could pay for a billion likes but if none of them are interested in what you have to say or offer, it is a complete waste of money. One like from one relevant person will make you more money.

As someone who has been in sales his entire adult life, there is one rule when it comes to price:

How much is the buyer willing to pay.

I've taken cheap plastic cell phone cases that cost me $1.49 and sold them for over $50 to one customer while another would only pay me $20 for the exact same case. (This was in a bricks & mortar store, not online.)

If you want to get a premium price, you're going to have to induce the buyer into believing that you are offering a premium product.

    Ask these questions:
    • When I post a message, how many comments & likes does it get?
    • If I post a link, how many clicks?
    • How many subs are talking about my page?
    • etc

Facebook keeps really strong analytics on this for the owner of the page. You'll need to review your numbers and then see if there is a way to transfer ownership with breaking FB's TOS and getting the page shutdown (which will make those 1 million likes = $0.00).

I am VP of Product for a company that does this - we have a huge activation network (15+mm users). We recently sold 100,000 incentivized likes for $100,000.

While it makes us a lot of money, it's really stupid of our clients to pay for it. Number of likes does not mean an active, monetizable user base. It's a meaningless number. We advise them against it, but a lot of them just look at likes as a metric of success. If they want to pay us for it...so be it.

What I would do is build a really great product, and organically grow your likes that consist of people that actually like your product/brand. You'll see much higher engagement that way.

Yeah...and i wonder how many of them are real active users.. probably none.

To get likes .. people that are actually interested in your page so you can actually use them is hard.. im getting about 20 likes a day on my page , so is a slow process.

I did this recently as well.

        1. Your right they are not active.

        2. It gave the page credibility. I grew my actual userbase much faster with real like after buying 1K likes. People often do not like joining a page with very few users.

The only advantage to buying likes is a certain measure of social proof. If you buy them you need not count those people in your real metrics and you also need to make sure you are adding enough value to actually grow the page organically.
