First I would like to apologize for the empty threads i posted earlier.

Now my problem. I want to promote clickbank products but I don't know how to choose the products. I have no idea how begin researching the different niches. I haver received some great tips but I'm still confused. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Test them out! I don't like to promote something that I've never tried myself.
If you don't want to do that, look at the gravity of the product. If it has high gravity, it usually means that people are making money promoting it.

But is gravity a really good indicator? I saw somewhere that some People prefer lower gravity.

Lower gravity can mean possibly lower competition or small amount of people have successfully promoted the product. Vice versa for high gravity

If you are just starting, better focus on lower gravity products, lets say 15-30 would be good, and preferably with higher commission (above 50%).

And then just make sure to find some good long-tail keywords for the product to start your journey.

    Hope this helps,

Clickbank product selection can be tricky, since there is so much crap in that marketplace. The first thing is picking a good market. If you're first starting out, try smaller niches if you know there are people desperate to solve a problem.

Then you have to guess how well it will convert (because that's all you can do, short from asking the seller what their conversion rates are and hoping for an honest answer).

How truthful does the sales page sound? Does the seller seem trustworthy -- look for real pics of the author, contact information, google their name, etc?

How helpful/organized/easy to implement is the product itself? Important to know if you care about refunds and chargebacks.

Basically, imagine you are the target market, and promote something that you would fork out your hard earned money for. Research what pains them and really get in their shoes.

If it helps you at all, I have a little 10-point checklist of criteria for selecting products to promote.

    It's here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post2161932

(As you'll see, some of my criteria there overlap with the important ones Jessica already mentioned above).

Don't take too much notice of gravity. In particular, don't imagine that products with high gravity figures are necessarily converting well, or being successfully sold by large numbers of affiliates. It may look that way at first glance, but it doesn't actually mean that at all: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post2495251

ClickBank is great affiliate program. You can make a lot of money using it. You just need to learn little bit more about search engine optimization (SEO) to gain search engines targetted traffic.

If you want a business that depends on search engines for its primary traffic, perhaps. :p

Many Warriors have discovered, some of them to their very great cost, over the last year or so, that having a business that depends on search engines for its primary traffic means that you'll only ever be one algorithm-change away from a potential accident or even a potential disaster.

Search engine traffic is just one kind of traffic. Many of us who make our livings as ClickBank affiliates have actually found that search engine traffic is just about the least reliable, least worthwile, and lowest-converting traffic for ClickBank products.

Personally, I strongly recommend that people planning to build a business involving promoting ClickBank products should try to stack the deck in their favor rather than against themselves, by finding ways of avoiding dependence on search engine traffic.

I completely agree with everything just said by Chris Kent, above, too.

Rule #1 Promote a REAL product that can REALLY help people.
There are just waaaaaay too much hype in alot of clickbank products ( I'm not talking about the make money online niche by the way!)

    Anyways if you ask me..
I like to go with "cure" type niche because these people are desperate and people are most likely wanting to get rid of something.

Find your niche and what products people in that niche are most interested in. Then go to clickbank and find a good product that meets their need.

So how do I find out what people in my chosen niche wants? Just google it? Cos I have to say that is a bit ambiguous. My other thought is to join a forum for that chosen niche. I think that is a good idea but I need more options.
