Where do you Put your OTO,Upsell, recommendation,SLO in your opt-in funnel?

They say Solo ads is a great way to build your list from scratch.
And an OTO in your opt-in funnel is a good way to get your investment back.

But I realize I have many unverified subscribers, and I doubt it is because of the OTO.

My pathway:

Web Form --> thank you page telling subscribers to check their inbox, meanwhile check out this special offer (auto-redirect) --> OTO page --> subscriber click on confirmation letter --> free report

By using this pathway I realize I have 15 unverified subscribers out of 50 subscribers. Is it because people are pissed about the OTO?

Should I place my OTO after they click the confirmation link? Or recommend an affiliate product in my free report?

I always have mine straight after they confirm their double opt-in.

    Works great for me.

ive been using my OTO straight after they opt in and currently my OTO converts at 10%

ive not tested it yet with them having to double opt in first and then send them to the OTO after

i know for a fact though that my conversions would be lower because its more hoops someone has to jump through and because of this you will get lower conversions

i reckon if i was to offer the OTO after the double opt in i reckon my conversions would drop down to around 6 - 7%

so it just means your getting less back to pay for your ad

but the best way is to test and see what works best for you, but i would be very surprised if you didnt lose money by using the double opt in method
