Within this forum, I see people always asking questions about the "best" whatever...

Folks, the "best" is nothing more than a matter of personal preference.

No matter what niche you pick, people will have differing opinions as to what the "best" one is.

It is not a reliable test of what you are hoping to find.

Most people asking the question hope only to save themselves the effort of finding the product or service that will "best suit their needs"...

And yet, that is why people will never be able to agree on the best of anything!!

For example, the "best search engine" according to many people is Google. Yet, I have heard from a number of people that Bing traffic converts better than Google traffic. Sure Google has more traffic than Bing, but if you can get better sales conversions with Bing than Google, your cost of a sale is going to be less at Bing than Google.

"Best" is simply an opinion, but you have no way of knowing what criteria someone used to measure or determine that the item that they are representing as the "best" is the "best" item available!!

In the question of the "best search engine", "best" may represent:

* The most users;
* The most traffic;
* The highest rankings;
* The most #1 search listings;
* The most page one listings;
* The highest sales conversion numbers;
* User loves the layout;
* User likes the returned search results better.

See what I mean?

Unless we know what criteria the person commenting is using to make the determination, "best" has no real meaning beyond, "it is my favorite."

Instead of asking what the "best of" anything is, tell people your decision-making criteria and then ask for recommendations that solidly reflect your wants and needs.
