What things can be outsourced and where?

I work full-time and am in the process of trying to set up a couple of niche sites, my problem is time.

I've heard of having things outsourced, but what kinds of things can I outsource and where can I outsource to that won't cost me an arm and a leg starting out?

Would I look at fiverr.com and how do I know if the person doing the work is good?

When I was starting out a while back I had a fiverr gig done for me to build a gaming site. the guy actually did a really good job.

Amazing what you can get for $5 .. find one with loads of positive reviews

There are also standard niche sites sold on ebay .. usually go for between $35 and $75 dollars depending on how many bidders.

The sites are fine but the on page seo usually needs reworking

You can outsource anything that can be delivered online, so that makes your options fairly limitless. You can also outsource anywhere outsourcing is available. The problem with outsourcing anywhere is that some services are riddled with fees and others don't provide the necessary means to protect your investment. Worse is when you encounter services with both of these issues and more.

As you can see from my signature, I highly recommend outsourcing through RentACoder (vWorker) for some rather critical reasons. vWorker not only provides a low fee structure, it provides free arbitration and an actual cash refund should you ever need it. Fiverr and its clones don't -- they only refund money back into your site account.

vWorker also gives you the means to monitor your provider's work-in-progress with a desktop program. You even have the option of hiring a manager (sherpa) to take over your outsourcing project for you -- which sounds like a great idea for someone who works full-time. If not, you can put a fair amount of trust in vWorker's rating system, which is designed to prevent false and/or abusive feedback.

Wherever you outsource, do take the time to read over available terms of service. One of the biggest problems people encounter with outsourcing online is failing to research what they're getting into before getting into it.

There are loads of places to get outsourcing. Places as you mention Fiverr.com; Gigbucks.com; Tenrr.com; GigMe5.com are all similar (there's many more) & you can get the idea of their reliability by their stats & testimony in each gig.

Do what you do best as long as you are efficient at it and outsource the mundane tasks that steal the time you can never get back.

There is probably no better way to grow your business than to begin outsourcing but before you start you should have a clear set of goals and a well mapped out business plan.

Look over your business plan and decide on what you intend to outsource and determine how much of your budget can be spent on outsourcing.

Like the guys mentioned above There are a number of online services that you can post your job listings on such as oDesk, eLance, Freelancer.com and Vworker. The advantage to going this route is that you have the opportunity to screen your potential employees as well as checking references and sample work.

I have always had the best luck using an outsourcing company as opposed to hiring one at a time. If the company has a team of individuals working for them you can have all your outsourcing needs handled under one roof.

Check out these 3 companies: getvirtualstafffinder . com, hireyourvirtualassistant . com and worldwide101 . com

    Best Wishes!

You can outsource just about anything including, backlinking, keyword research, article writing, social media marketing, product creation, graphic design etc.

If your on a budget then I would recommend fiverr for certain services. You can find quality services on fiverr if you know how to look. Look for top rated sellers and people that have a lot of good reviews. I also look to see if they have any negative reviews and what was written. If they have a lot of good reviews and only a few negative reviews that don't look that bad then I'll usually go for it. Also don't be afraid to ask the seller any questions you might have about the service before you buy.

You can also look for services here on the Warrior Forum and on Odesk and sometimes find some good deals. There's also a great wso that just came out not too long ago called The Outsourcing Project which I would recommend you check out.

    Hope that helps.

You can outsource everything, but keep in mind that if somethings are just better left done by you. I outsource everything from graphic design, data entry, lead generation, etc. But things like keyword research, and picking what to promote are decisions I things that I still do.

Brian, be careful not to sink a ton of money into outsourcing unless you have it to spend or you could find yourself far in the hole before you even get started. Like Todd said, make sure you have a business plan and make smart decisions. It's one thing to start a site but another to monetize it. I never mean to discourage but it's harder these days to get "seen" online with natural search so you've really got to plan for everything in advance.

    Good luck!

I know exactly what you mean. When I first started out I also had a day job & time was definitely an issue. Now I outsource just about everything:
    • Squeeze page creation
    • Give-a-way products
    • Sales products

Once everything is set up all I have to do is drive traffic... and I even outsource that!! The only thing I do not outsource is my email follow-up sequence. That's because I believe it's so important to build a personal relationship with your list & the only way to really do that is to communication yourself.... In your own words!

PM me if you have any questions. I would love to help!

I agree with Jo about vworker. I have done over 50 jobs as a freelancer and hardly had any issues with that site. There are loads of places you can outsource work to but definitely do your research.
