Where can I upload video files larger than 4gigs?

I have some training videos I want to upload, but they're too big for youtube and veoh. The buyer will pay $25 to get instant access to each video. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you for your time in advance.

Have you looked at Amazon S3?

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

Or maybe converting the videos in different format to make it smaller? If the other solutions dont work. Or just get cheap hosting and ftp it to a web server. Just throwing things out there.

Screencast dot com is owned by Techsmith - the same folks who develped Camtasia.

You can set up a free account and upload up to 2 Gigs, and have as much as 2 Gigs per month download from it. All free.

The code they give you even creates a player when you drop the code into a website.

If you want people to download the videos and watch on their own computer, just put them into a zipped folder on your own website, and send people the URL. Like this...

    http:// yourdomainname (dot) com/theNameOfThe Folder.zip

When someone clicks on it they will get an immediate download.

more than 4 gigs is pretty big.

I advise you change the format to reduce the filesize. From what I have read, it seems mp4 format gives you the best quality for the smallest filesize. It does however depend on which program you use to do the converting. iMovie 9 on the mac for example, is rubbish at it. Quicktime pro on the other hand, does an excellent job at preserving quality while converting files.

I use 4shared premium for my downloads. It's only $10 a month and they allow you to upload files up to 5GB. If it's more than that you can always break it into two .RAR files and download them separately. Then, open the first part up and it will automatically unpack them together.
