Hi,

I went to best buy to look for a desktop...currently, they have this deal for $799.99
Dell I530-120B Desktop with Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E7400, 19" LCD Monitor & 3-in-1 Printer

i need to get a desktop and want to know
- where do you buy desktops
- what is a solid company (dell is what i heard is solid)
- and is the 799.99 dell good buy u think?

I would like to say this offer is great but not with epson printer. I got a bad experience with epson printer, so if you can get a deal that come with other brand of printer that was more valuable. The price is quite expensive for me since my last purchased of this type of desktop (not come with printer) is around $550 ++.

Call Dell, their people will surely beat that price. BTW, I detest Best Buy. Many times, they won't even match their online price from the store.

I'm using epson printer during my study, the speed on printing is very slow and the ink consumption is not efficiently. I'm using 3 brand of printers during my study Epson, HP and canon. HP is great saving for a long term and canon is economical printer. Epson just an average printer from my previous experience, i can't afford to buy a new ink for my Epson's printer each time it dried up when I'm not using it within a few weeks. It some old experience maybe they're better now but I'm surely avoided from purchase Epson printer.

You can do better, Best Buy surely won't be your best buy. Im in the IT field and I buy basically all my companies equipment from tigerdirect.com or newegg.com.

  I agree with tramm Newegg is the way to go. their prices are some of the lowest I've seen. I use Mac systems, and Bestbuy Had the computer I bought for almost 600 more than the apple store. You should look around some more.
