Your core marketing strategies for a membership site?

Hey guys,

It's a pretty simple question for all you membership site owners. Which marketing strategies have you sworn by since you first launched your own membership site?

PPC?
Article Marketing?
Youtube?
Press Release?
Email Marketing?
Social Media Marketing?
Blogging?

I know those are just a few, so please don't hesitate to list what you have tried, what worked and what didn't work etc.

    For me I've used:

    -PPC
    -Youtube
    -Email Marketing
    -Blogging
    -Social Media (Mainly Twitter)

    Generally I use those above methods to go to a squeeze page, then pitch the membership in the autoresponder sequence.

    They are all good but I would suggest you find Affiliates to push your site and offer them something on a per member basis. This works great if you make money on you memberships, if not it could get costly.

    Using this method you will have alot of people talking to thier lists of people that know them and you will get alot of people in no time. Been ther done it and it works like a charm every time.

    Just Google Affiliate systems or Affiliate programms and you will find them all. Membership is free and you pay a small fee when you have an offer.

      Any suggestion for getting affiliates for a fitness and weight loss membership site? Thanks in advance for any help. I'm trying to come up with creative ways to build a huge membership base fast. I will be investing a fair amount of time inside the site so I can't give away the farm b/c I need to cover some of my initial time.

    Another alternative...

    If your membership site is in IM niche, you could launch it as WSO and use Warriorplus/ JVzoo as your affiliate platform.

    Attract a lot of affiliates by giving huge commissions and let them get free, targeted traffic for you...
