You're right to build a list from the outset, and you do that by setting up a squeeze page. When you drive traffic to your squeeze page, your goal is to get their email address so you can promote your clickbank products to them over and over again. Make sure you have a FREE gift to give in exchange for their address, and make sure it is related to the products you wish to promote to them in the future.

After they give you their email address, you can then direct them to a thank you page. On this page you can have whatever you like. You could simply set up a page thanking them for joining your list and give them instructions on what to do next,ie.. tell them to "white-list" your email messages so they don't get lost in the spam folder. However, your “thank you” page is one of the highest converting pages within your business, especially if the offer is an incredible one that provides value. One time offers convert very well indeed.

This is your business model, so make sure you treat it that way and test different strategies out for yourself. The biggest mistakes being made online these days is so called marketers taking advice from so called gurus at face value, without ever testing whether or not their methods really work.

Shoot me down if I'm wrong, but judging your post it seems your understanding of building a list is quite sketchy!
You are 100% right to want to build your list from the off, but think you need to educate yourself first! To answer you question "is it easy?" yes and no! yes its easy to build your list, but no, it not easy to build a succesful list! I could build a list of well over 2000 people in the next few weeks, but I bet I wouldnt make a dime from them!
Do some searching around the forums, as to build a list you need to understand:-

Squeeze pages
Thankyou Pages
Download pages
Autoresponders
Open and Click thriough rates
Relationship building
Sales funnels
Building and editing sites
testing campaigns
pop ups/exits
product creations(free gifts)
keeping subscribers
upsells
message sequences
How to offer real value
etc etc

This is just the basics! if this is going to be your business model DON'T do it fast DO IT well, learn and understand the finer details and you will be fine - Rome was'nt built in a day, slowly slowly catchy monkey is by far the best approach! there are plenty of places around this forum where you can learn it all for FREE so do plenty of searching and reading and above all TAKE ACTION!

I'm not in a rush, that is why I said I'm getting information. Step by step but the right way.

Also I don't understand why people have the need to discourage, I get it it is not an easy process, if it would be everybody would be doing it. I'm not looking for a shortcut, I want to do things righ. I know there are proper steps to take and I also know I will do mistakes but that is how I will learn. So that Is why I'm on wf, I'm trying to limit my mistakes, and specially learn from the one i will do. But before I start investing money and time and take action, I prefer asking suggestion and advise from more experience warriors .
