    Hi there entry,

I haven't use a javascript exit popup but I have used an Aweber lightbox on my site. I just put the javascript code into a text widget on the sidebar and it works great. I don't see why it wouldn't work with an exit popup. I guess it can't hurt to try it

    Hope this has helped.

No, it usually comes included in most themes these days. Just look under 'Appearance' and then click 'Widgets' and you should see it in the list of available widgets for the theme.

Create a signup page in your wordpress dashboard, in the editor click to view HTML, copy/paste the code directly into the page, save and publish the page.

No need to over engineer it, nothing to "install", don't need a plugin.

Get action optin, and put it as a widget in your sidebar, or paste the script into a post then freeze that post to always be on top of your other posts
