Are you trying to make the link in your video "clickable"?

    Hi Rasco

There may be many ways to do this, but the one that leaps in to my mind is to create an overlay image over the whole video. But it depends on how you created the videos as to how easy this will be.

With a reasonably decent editing package (e.g. Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premier Elements etc), and if you have the source video file you can see a number of channels for editing. What I mean is, when you open up the file for editing, you can view it so that you can see the video track, audio track etc. And you can place an image on one of the tracks - that image would be a blank background with your URL in text at the bottom.

I think all this can be done in Camtasia 6 too as it has quite advanced editing tools.

Without knowing more about how you created your video in the first place and what formats you have available, I'm in danger in rambling on with a load of techno speak that won't mean much.

How did you create your video and what formats do you have it in? Also, have you got any editing package?

You can use Windows Movie Maker to add text and credits and it should already be on your PC. It has primitive text capabilities, but should do what you need to do.

The only other thing that comes to mind for me regarding your videos are what format are they in...flv, avi, mp4, mov, wmv?

FLV videos are generally un-editable. You will need to convert them into a format that your NLE video editor can work with.

Most video editors have limited video format editing capacities. AVI is fairly universal.

If you do not own a video editor you can use a site like JayCut – Online video editing or other online video editor sites to add captions or text to your video.

If you are using Camtasia here is a great tutorial by the Camtasia master Lon Naylor...

    Using Lower Thirds in Camtasia

This is the exact tutorial I used in order to create lower thirds in my videos. It is a fantastic tutorial.

I like to use Aimersoft to "raise" the bottom of the video so there is a sharp looking pure black strip for displaying a white URL. I have noticed more type in traffic from doing this at YouTube. Then at the end of the video I put in a white "sign" (just a picture I colored pure white in paintshop) that I stretch out for an additional 30 seconds or so, with black letters. In my tests these white and black lettered URL's get the most visitors to my site.

I think with a good video editing package such as Premiere or Imovie you can open up your existing video file for editing, and you can insert an overlay of your web url at the bottom fairly easily. If you've got Camtasia 6 as well you can do it fairly easily as it has quite advanced editing tools. Joe's suggestion is a great solution as well! Check them out!
