Anyone Try To Sell One Of These On Flippa???

I was wondering if anyone who sells on flippa ever tried to sell a squeeze page with a sales funnel. It could just be a squeeze page that redirects to an OTO. Then when they get their first email from you you give them the download page to download what they opted in for and also have other products for sale on that download page like clickbank products.

Anyone selling such a thing on flippa or try to anyway? Or see anyone else doing that?

I'm thinking of testing it out - it's only $19 plus a domain. Not sure what category I would put it in.

    Over a year ago, sales pages with unique products (ebook), with affiliate pages (with graphics for affiliates to use), squeeze pages, and thank you/download pages were all the rage. They sold from 1K to $1,800. When the first one sold, everyone jumped on the bandwagon until the bandwagon got a flat tire and stopped working. It lasted for a good while.

    The only thing about them was the ebooks were a bit too generic. Would need some sizzle to make them worth anything to buyers. Not quite the same thing you are talking about, but similar.

    It could work. It would work even better if there was a list that was starting to grow and maybe some sales to show that the copy converts.

      Thanks for the reply Suzanne. I guess that would help alright but can you build a list in your aweber and then give it to someone else. I thought aweber didn't allow importing email address lists. I wonder. I read somewhere they don't because then anyone with a cheap coreg list could import and start spamming.

        Yeah ... lists are a great selling point on Flippa, but not easily transferable. Perhaps you could open a free or low cost trial account just for this site and transfer that account to the buyer.

    Flippa's gotten a really bad rep this last year for sales to me

    Shill bidding is actually a neccessity for the best 'looks in my opinion now as well.

    The top sellers are doing it, so to get a fair share of views, you might want to jump on board.

    I didn't even know about this until this forum and haven't done it but i get the feeling it would help.

    There are still some gems on Flippa but as CBusiness pointed out, you have to be extremely cautious and exercise proper due diligence. With the amount of crap on Flippa and having to deal with Shill bidding I have found a lot more clients preferring to use a broker then having to deal Flippa BS.
