1 money site - 5 supporting domains - How would you proceed?

I have an ecommerce site that sells one product only. A tangible product for automobiles.

I have 5 key word rich domains that I want to lead to the site money site.
The domains are the same as the 5 most popular searched terms for this type of product. Example would be productalternative.com or productvs.com

I am thinking about putting up a wordpress site on each domain, which as reviews of my product, or comparisons of my product against popular competing brands, all leading to my money site.

Then, SEO the ish out of those 5 sites. Link wheel or similar.

Any suggestions on how best to use these properties?

  • Those are all very good ways you mentioned. I especially like the review site idea, because most people want to know what others think about a product before purchasing it.

    Another idea for a site to use to get traffic to your money site might be a site that gives information on a related product (one people typically need information for) then squeeze your product in there somewhere.

    I already plan on having a blog on the site that is very content rich.. Updated daily.
  • I would build the 5 sites with great content, using Wordpress with premium themes, and link them to my money site, which would also have great content.

    A Mini Domain Network. 5 to 1, I like 6 to 1 or 36 to 1.
