Introducing myself and a question about selling ebook/web templates

Hey guys, my name is Clayton and I've been reading around WarriorForum for a while now although I haven't posted at all. I'm 20years old, originally from Okinawa, Japan and I currently reside in San Antonio, TX. I've always been computer savvy since middle school and have been designing web sites on and off since then. It wasn't until I heard about internet marketing about two years ago that I started taking web designing seriously.

A little bit about what skills I have...
I can speak Japanese and English fluently, so if anybody needs any translation for ebooks/websites, feel free to shoot me a PM.

I've been studying/working with the Joomla! CMS for about a year now, and am quite confident in my skills.

I can do some Photo editing, graphic design, HTML/CSS stuff, hacking, but am not too savvy with all that.

Now, for the question...
I have been thinking about starting a small web designing/ website management business. I have many premade templates that look very decent (and I guess I can post a load of the templates on the WSO when I figure out how..) and was wondering how this can work. My concern is, I don't know how to have the customer buy a template, and redirect them to a download page.

I know I could create a link to a certain page where buyers can download a template by entering a password, but I'm sure they can give the password out to people.

I was wondering if there are any applications out there where whenever someone buys a template, a random link is generated and is sent to the buyer and gives a time limit for the buyer to download the template. I know siteground.com does it for their templates, but I don't know how they do it.

If anybody has any answers, ideas, etc please shoot it out. Any insight is very, very much appreciated!

Thanks,
Clayton
