Screenshot question.....

I am in the process of writing my first ebook and had a question about using screenshots of other websites in the ebook. What are legal/copyright issues involved when using screenshots of websites for instructional purposes? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I think you know the meaning of the word plagiarism and I'm sure you know what copywrite (if you insist, copyright) is so why are you asking?

You should be asking the owners of the web sites you want to copy for their written permission.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.

Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

    Hi Chewy:

Hope all is well. Always do the right thing and hope you never have been the victim of somebody taking your work. The proper way to conduct any business on and off the internet is to get written permission for any photos, words, audio, and or videos that you wish to use. Always have it in writing and give credit to those that consented.

    Have a great Sunday!
