I did it, I made £1,000 GBP this month on Clickbank
Nearly 2 years ago, I joined this forum and I didn't even know what a "hop" was. I had no idea what a squeeze page was either, not to mention backlinks and all the other IM related stuff.
It took me 5 whole months to make my first sale on Clickbank, and I still believe those 5 months were by far the hardest of my IM journey. But it's days like today that make it all worth it.
Even though I have made small realistic goals along the way, e.g. $5 per day, $10 per day etc. I think deep down, £1,000 in a month has always been my long term goal, and today I achieved it.
I just checked an online money converter, and I believe $1,568 = £1,000 (If it isn't, I still have 3 days left in the month :p)
How did I do it?
When I first started, I had 5 different sites in 5 different niches. The goal at first was to make a small amount from each of them. However, I noticed after a few months that one particular website was performing much better than all of the others (At a guess, I would say 75% of my sales were from this one website) what did I do? I ditched the other 4 websites, and focused 100% of my efforts on the one that was making me the most money.
Today 100% of my sales come through this same one niche, one website and one squeeze page. I like to keep it simple, and stick to one project at a time.
My only goal is to get as much targetted traffic to my squeeze page as possible. Simple as that. Some people will say that it's not all about "How Many" subscribers you get per day, and this is true to an extent. However, it's so much easier to digest when you think of it as just numbers. For example, setting incremented goals.. I want 10 subscribers per day, then 20, 50, 100 etc.
I guess my lucky talent is being able to focus on one thing, and one thing only. I have only ever purchased one "How to make money online" product, and I still use some of the things I learnt from that product today. But to be honest, all you need is this forum.
Warriors on this forum say EVERY day that "The money is in the list" and "Stick to one thing, and one thing only" - They aren't saying this stuff for no reason, they're saying it because this is what works. I'm not going to lie, it took a LONG time for me to build a list. But one day I think it just finally sunk in, and I've never looked back. My only regret in IM is not building a list sooner.
