Question about Facebook cover graphics and photos

I don't have much experience with Facebook and have been trying to learn how to work with the new Timeline (for individuals and businesses). My question is about the graphics that Facebook places into albums: Profile Pictures, Cover Photos and Wall Photos. Once you have uploaded and saved an image, is it possible to delete an image that has been saved in an album?

As an example, I added a cover image that has a mistake I didn't notice until I had saved the image. I don't see any way to totally delete that graphic so that it does not appear in the cover album (which is available for public viewing). Same seems true for profile pictures and general photos.

Can you never totally remove covers, profiles or photos from Facebook? Or, am I missing something simple?

    You're missing something kinda obvious, but not as obvious as it used to be LOL!

    There are two steps:

    Hover over the actual timeline cover photo and hit the little change photo things that pops up in the bottom right. Put your new one up.

    Next click the link that lets you look at all of your pictures. You should have an album called Cover Photos. Click on that, then click on the one(s) you don't want. Hover over that and there's an options choice at the bottom center. Click that and there's your delete option.

    I've done this a time or two...can you tell?

    Thanks for your reply. It didn't make sense there wasn't an easy way to delete graphics but I was not seeing the options setting. I was using an older browser, so switched to chrome and there it was! Knew I was missing something.

    Yes , you can do it.Go to timeline cover photo and select change photo option in the bottom.Go to your photo album ,choose photo which you want to delete ,select delete option in the pop up.
