Is it just me or do you hate it when...

*Warning: Slight Rant Below*

Maybe it's just me but I HATE it when I get messages in my WSO threads that say something like this: "just sent you a PM".

Thanks, but I know that.

Not only do I see the notification from within the Forum itself, but I also get a email notification of the same. Maybe it's my OCD kicking in, but I just like to keep things clean, simple and clutter free and these kinds of posts drive me nuts.

Sure, it's more action on the thread but I'd much prefer to save that real estate for product specific questions or product reviews.

This may just be a personal preference of mine, and you can just consider this post my little venting/therapy session. Now that it's over though, it's time to get to get to work.

  • I would say it if I was also posting something relevant, but it just seems an excuse to get their own name and sig on your thread...
  • Theres a good reason for that. Most forums only allow a tiny amount of messages in the inbox, so quite often it fills up and new messages don't get seen.

    I hate when people start threads with 'Leading question........' when they could easily have put the subject matter in the title thread. Well actually not hate, as that is to strong a word, but seriously, stop it people its annoying and every other thread is doing it now.
