Hey Everybody. Given that so many people liked my last infographic (seen here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...tion-work.html), and since I enjoy making them so much (even though it is time consuming and tedious to do), I decided to make a couple more infographics, and create a new blog to hold them all.

Here is my most recent one. I just finished it this morning (really, REALLY early), and I have no idea how long it took me to make. I'm guessing several hours. It's quite a bit longer than my last two. Enjoy.

P.S. The link for the "YouTube Creator Playbook", which is referenced to in this infographic, can be found here: YouTube Creator Playbook - YouTube

Hey Josh. I really love those infographics. You've done a nice job on them. A picture can explain a process so much better than words.

    • For some reason, I am not seeing the graphic? Getting the broken link icon in IE and blank space in FF.

  • It is not awesome by any means. Is it even an infographic?

Same thing here. The infographic looked great after I completed the treasure hunt to find it lol.

Strange. It loaded just fine for me. O_o

I've switched to a different image host. Can you guys see it now?

    • Yes Joshua,

It is visible now and quite good I might add.

Yep ... it's here now. Lol at Joe and treasure hunt.

    • Well, now I can see it - go figure.

I like it, Joshua. The info is good and the set-up works. The one thing that I think could improve is using more color. It's rather bland with the monochrome scheme.

  • Nice! I like it too....but must agree with Tina that use more colors!
    Just my 2 cents!

I updated the OP with a different color scheme. I would describe it as tropical. But more colors, yes?

I agree with Tina on the color. Liked the first background color the best.

    • Why do I suddenly want to whip up a Pina Colada?

OK, I switched to the old background/color scheme, but added some color and removed some clutter. Thoughts?

And thanks for your feedback thus far everyone, it's really very helpful .

But sheesh, maybe I should just stick with the color scheme I used in the first two. Everyone seems to like those.

  • Cool Infographic!
  • That's another nice and helpful infographic. Thanks.

Hmmm, the business mind in me says you could sell the source files (PSDs)
for people to edit as PLR infographics

    • I like your infographics, I tried to make one yesterday .... too much work!

Someone needs to create a product that allows you to easily make them ... one that would let you easily put in charts and graphs, add text with different fonts easily and has royalty free generic graphics that people could use on them.

Selling PLR to info graphics is a fabulous idea!

  • I would like to know what program you are using to make the infographic

I used InkScape. It's the free alternative to Adobe Illustrator, kind of like how Gimp is the free alternative to Photoshop.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Good stuff Josh! I could see a series of product creation infographics.

An entire infographic could be dedicated to each of your subtopics above, then you could do one on formatting, promotion, cross-selling, creating a series of titles...

    Yep, the possibilities are endless.

Great job! Looking forward to what you come up with next.

    All the best,
    Michael

    • I think infographics add a sense of credibility and authority to a website, as long as they look professional and are not filled with spelling mistakes, etc. People are accustomed to seeing them on government websites and authoritative news sites. That sense of authority gets transferred to any website or blogger who is using infographic-style content.

      .
  • Looks cool man, you have done a good job.
  • I think it looks great
I really like the pro tip inside the circle
  • Great stuff. I'm gonna start working on one. I've found alot of templates in Graphic River on infographics to use as well.
