Flippa - How sellers are doing this ??

Hi Everyone,

On Flippa, Of the late there are lot of listings (specially in social media stuff) where seller claiming site launched a month ago and made already money selling packages ranging from 500$ to 2000$. They are also attaching paypal proofs for the sales.

I was wondering, how they manage to make these sales in such a short time ?? They mention that its not a PPC campaign. What else method they might use ? and if they able to generate 500$ to 2000$/Month, why selling them for 300$ ?

Problem lies in the fact, that many seller do all the hard work in building, developing small income adsense sites to make some money on Flippa but these sort of claimed income/potential outclass them and make less attractive to buyers.

They could have a large email list, this would make this pretty easy. They could also have a JV going on with someone else who has the large list.

If they are making $2000 quickly and selling site for $300 then that tells me paypal shots are probably fake.

It makes more sense if they make $2000 to do a quick flip and start the bidding at around $2000. I have seen this. I have also seen these people end up getting banned sometimes. So be careful.

They could easily be taking their existing sources of traffic and just pointing them to various sites for long enough to establish income proof and sell them off. There are all kinds of ways they could be generating traffic other than PPC.

    don't see just the earning,
you must see traffic, pagerank, alexa rank, search their website via google with string info:thesite.com to make sure not redirect site.

    be careful while at flippa

You are right, problem is that most of potential buyers of these sites are newbies and they don't know all this stuff. Flippa allows Quality feedback after 6 months. In this period, they earn more than enough to create another account to restrat from.

You can use such listings to learn what they are
doing right but never buy the sites even if you
    are tempted.

Traffic and income will disappear in an instant
after the sale. If you buy you will struggle to
make the money that you expected. Dashed
    hope!

If you take a look at the other listings the seller has, you'll most likely find that he/she is selling the same clone over and over again, with the same income claims and screenshots in all of them. He may have made that on the original site and uses that income screenshot in all the clones or it may just be a fake screenshot. I'd stay away from sites like that and please look at all of a seller's listings before buying.

Those are fake, as simple as that.
And they have fake bidding id's too, that makes those listing look too good to be true.

Never buy a flippa site by judging it's traffic history! Never! Always check it's Google organic ranking before buying decision!

Not just fake but also crap domain name, no matching on keywords and no reason for the business. No PR, nothing.

Flippa is a waste of space, even their biggest sale ever was a flop for the buyer.
