Would 3 newsletters a week lead to info overload

Dear Warriors

I have been squirreling away producing a years worth of weekly newsletters. I have 3 weekly newsletters each focused on different IM areas: list building, affiliate marketing and general IM hot topics.

If you were on my list and received 3 newsletters a week, would you consider this:

1. Useful; or

2. Information overload?

The newsletters are high quality (in my opinion) and contain useful info.

Many thanks in advance for your comments.

Best regards

Luke

How can I give you useful feedback without more
    details?

    Like...

    Seeing sample newsletter issues.

How many words is the average issue?

If you're providing valuable content and relevant offers,
then frequency of contact is less of an issue.

But I'd at least have to see some sample issues before
saying whether 3 per week would be too much or too
    little for me.

Well, getting an email everyday that is useful is not a problem for me and i'm sure it wouldn't be for many others either. The thing i would be worried about here Luke, is that you are sending a newsletter, which is usually not just a short email about one specific subject, but loaded with content. If this is the case with your newsletter then i think it could be too much information. Not sure how others will see this though.

How about a newsletter Monday & Friday if you think there will be too much information to digest for your subs.

It's hard to answer mate, the best way to find the perfect answer is to ask your subscribers what they think. Do you seriously think myself or anybody else on here is going to have the right answer for you. Even if the most experienced marketer in here gave me advice, i would damn well test it before i listened. You should too Luke.

      Thanks guys

Shaun - valuable comments as always. Still constantly reverting back to your "trust report". Great read. Would you mind if I pm'ed you the download link to a newsletter.

I have received numerous emails from my lists, the majority of my buyers list are loving them. My "just looking at the moment" list tend to be mixed. May be time to split test it.

Just wanted any opinions from people who had taken the newsletter approach before. Put a lot of time and effort into these.

      Best regards

      Luke

If I was recieving a newsletter 3 times aweek I would get bored in a month and unsubscribe!!!

The clue is in your first sentence where you stated 'weekly newsletter' not '3 x a weekly newsletter'

Stick to your plan, ask for feedback, if they want more give them more, otherwise you need to remember they are people not a list, and people have very busy lives!! 3 times a week is excessive!!

It really depends on how good your contents are.

If they are extremely useful, your subscribers will be looking forward to receive your newsletters.
