Questions About Squeeze Page

Hey guys,

I am trying to load my squeeze page template onto my hosting account using Kompozer.

Question: How do I upload it to website.com/squeezepage1 and website.com/squeezepage2?

My plan is to use website.com as my blogging site whereas website.com/squeezepage1 and website.com/squeezepage2 are used as the 2 versions of squeeze pages for the purpose of split testing.

Any ideas how if this can be done and how I can do this?

i gave up using komposer to create squeeze pages about 3 years ago

i used to pull my hair out trying to figure it all out

now i just use optimize press, its so much easier and will save you a tonne of time

i cant help you on your actual problem but bare in mind that using something like optimize press could save you a tonne of time. Its a bit pricey but worth every penny it has saved me thousands of hours of head scratching and stress

    Hey InternetLover,

this all sounds too tough technically

Why don't you just get someone from odesk to sort this out for you?

Are you saving your squeeze pages as a .html file?

Usually squeeze pages are saved as : index.html or index1.html or index2.html and so on.

You could save them as: website.com/squeezepage1/index.html but this requires that you have a sub-folder named squeezepage1. The same applies with the second squeeze page you have. It would require you to have a sub-folder named squeezepage2.

If it were me - I would just save each of them as index1.html & index2.html - then upload them to my hosting acct.

I agree with Paul, Optimize Press is hands down the easiest way to build squeeze pages.

It is $97 dollars but it is definitely worth the investment.

You can also easily clone squeeze pages and tweak it for split testing.

With Optimize Press, you can create a squeeze page in 10 minutes.

Good luck and all the best.

If your squeeze page are html, I would use FileZilla instead of Kompozer and upload the files to your site. You can link to them via your blog.
Hope this helps or have I misunderstood your question

you will need a script to rotate the pages (or rotate them manually by ftp every xxx hits OMG - did I say that - ) chuckle... find a script
you will also need some form of analytics -
now if you were to use wordpress for the site - as said above there are many options for doing this

Hello! That site is not that good. Just find a greater site than this. I really had problems using it and doing stuff in this site. I gave up using it cause it's very complicated and takes up most of my time. You should find other greater sites.

    Hey everyone,

I found a good template so I tried using Kompozer last night to find publishing it a problem especially when I have two versions!

Looks like I better stick to Optimize Press. Time is precious.

Appreciate all your input, work smart, not hard and do not waste hours!
