My advice: NEVER do something when you're desperate. You're only 17, so if I were you, I'd grab a pack of paper and print out some flyers and do 2 things:

    1) With half of the flyers, I'd print out lawn care ads.
    2) With the other half, I'd print out an ad for your site.

Now go find corkboards around town that you can pin them to. One way or another, you'll get money that you can re-invest in your site. And, if not, the paper only costs $5, so you have plenty of money left to go and make new flyers and try again.

I hope you are list building, if not put in a optin form in your upper right hand side.

Also, do a SOLOL or two, it should bring you in some money perhaps. Stay focused and don't give up!

Use one of these in your blog posts to help drive visitors.

Aside from that, how are you actually driving your visitors to the site? I wouldn't start an adwords campaign just yet.

Well, what are you doing to promote your site?

Are your Facebook and Twitter followers legitimate people interested in your product? You should start focusing on building an audience there, as it's much easier to drive traffic to your blog through there.

You can also do forum posts on bodybuilding forums, blog comments on other similar blogs, pay someone on fiverr to retweet one of your tweets, ect..

Youtube videos are also a great way to drive targeted traffic to your blog. Simply posting articles and stuffing them with keywords isn't going to get you visitors - you need to go out and find them.

I would suggest learning as much as you can about SEO, and how to drive traffic to your website. There's tons of competition in your niche, and your blog isn't just going to appear in search results.

In order for people to see what you have to offer they have to find you first. One month is actually not that much time at all for a new blog to gain a following, specially if you're new to IM. I don't mean to discourage you, but that's how it works.

My best advice you you is to keep providing quality content to your readers, do your keyword research (one main keyword per blog post), and learn as much as you can about getting traffic, seo, list building, and IM in general.

All the best, hope to see you succeeding!

I would hold off with an Adwords campaign until you have a little more experience with it. PPC can take out the rest of your budget pretty quickly.

You can try some free traffic sources, TooAlive gave you some good tips for it. I feel the weight loss niche is a difficult one to get into, that people have been seeing it spammed for years now. This could just be my perception of it. It is an evergreen niche though, and there is money it, you're just going to have to be persistent.

If you sign up for AWeber, they'll have a form builder that you can copy/paste into a widget or wherever in Wordpress.

sorry but "desperate" is when you are in a much worse situation than you are in young fella

try losing your job, all your life savings, having your home repossessed, your partner leave, have nowhere to live, no money, food and have no chance of getting a job because you are too old and there is a recession and can't even get an interview for a minimum wage job

    sorry to be harsh

I've been in that boat too. I lost my girlfriend, business, home, and everything in between when the economy crashed in 2008. That was desperation.

But I can understand why you think you're desperate at your age. Just try to keep it in perspective and know that all things pass and you can be successful.

Too true. Reminds me of a quote I like.

"I cried because I had no shoes. Then I met a man who had no feet."

My advice is this; There will always be someone worse off than you. Count your blessings and make the most of what you do have. Focusing on the negatives will get you nowhere.

I can't believe you haven't cracked the internet marketing game in your first month online. That's a desperate situation you're in alright. Everybody else succeeds after 2 weeks or so. Just keep plugging away at it, another fortnight and i reckon you be on the road to riches.

You're probably the nicest person in the world, but I have to say your attitude stinks. You will not succeed in this game with a mindset like that. If you are getting desperate after your first month, god knows what you will be like after 6 - 12 months.

It really should be easier though, dontcha think?

    Hey bud,

Listen if you're strapped for cash here's what you want to do. Go and master Wordpress and then sell your services. Hustle hard.

If you really master Wordpress that's a valuable skill and you can charge local businesses min of $300 to build a website for them. So go, go go!

And a note about mindset. This is a business man and you got to treat it as such. Don't believe the "overnight" cash stuff...it'll only slow you down.

It's not as simple as putting a website, adding some content and watch the money pour in.

It's about learning new skills, really understanding those skills and taking action on those skills.

Ask yourself: am I just throwing things on the wall and seeing what sticks? Or do I really know what I'm doing?

Things you can do immediately for your site:
What you got there is a affiliate blog around weightloss and muscle building. But you have an advertisement for plumping up lips.

    I'd change that.

Also, looking at your site, I can tell you straight off you're in the game of SEO or search engine optimization. So I'd go learn SEO quick style. Master it.

Good luck man and remember what I said about learning Wordpress selling your services. That's a quick way to earn money!

    Hey dude, try video marketing...
Find 10 best keywords in ur niche.
make a video for each (30 sec animoto would do) with something shocking in the title, like: "If you have used product X, you absolutely must... " and tell them to read what it is that is so shocking .
Make an YT channel witht he best KW as ID. Upload all the videos. Optimize them. One Keywords for One video. Dont overdo.
Post comments on all the first page videos on youtube for those 10 keywords (so u'll have 10 pages). This will build the rank of your channel to PR4-5 in 3-4 weeks.
Share your videos on Digg and Stubleupon. Go to Microworkers and hire them to wathc the video in full length on Digg and Stumbleupon...NOT ON YOUR CHANNEL.

    Good Luck..

PS...i use this strategy on daily basis! And it works!

PPS> Get more images for those posts and PIN them...it can bring you sales AND backlinks

I got my first sales through doing a simple review on You Tube, I had a couple of sales of a betting subscription service called ZCode, which bring in $216 a month, I have had a few other smaller successes as well. It has been hard work so far though, I think when you do make a sale your outlook may change.

I would worry though, you say you are desperate, which means you probably have been spending money you can't afford to. I think scaling down your operation so you have less overheads is probably the way forward.

You have only been at it for a month! That is nothing be patient. Track everything and most importantly work on your mindset, relax mediate and watch how you are being or your attitude while you work. If you are frustrated and mad that's the results you will get. If you are smiling and happy thats what you will get. Look at the results without judging yourself and adjust. I know you want to punch me in the face for saying that but that is what has worked for me and I make a nice income online and live a free life.

    Hi rdogg12794,

There is a lot of valuable advice you are getting in this thread. Read all the posts again and write down all the "pearls" you can find.

I was ACTUALLY in your site and the first thing I can say is... YOU HAVE NO CALL OF ACTION... I can only see some ads in the sidebar but you are actually not selling anything in there. Sure you have great posts and advice on Muscle Building but the question is how do you want to make money with it?

Are you selling your own product? If so which one is it, where can your visitors find it?
Are you selling affiliate products? Then focus on the ones that are seling the most and add them in your posts with a big call to action "Click here and Build Your Muscles TODAY!
Do you want to make money only with Google Adsense ? Then try creating a lot more sites and driving tons of traffic...
Do you want to make money by selling ads? Print some flyers and make appointments with local gyms and instructors and sell them a piece of advertising in your site..

Anyway your first task is to keep focused and don't waste time. Write down what you want and how can you accomplish it (daily tasks) and keep to them. But never get discouraged

Been there too, and agree, its an age thing. All is relative right? The world falls apart cause a 2 week long girlfriend dumps ya! But, none the less, I also understand where the kid is coming from. It totally takes time bud, a month is typically not enough time. Sure there are folks out there that can send an email, post a post and make loads of cash. But first they had to build it smart and wait. PPC is a tricky game, beware. I have done a fair bit of it and it totally can work to increase traffic, but traffic is just a part of it, you all need to convert. Other posters have made reference to call to action. Agreed, if your primarily affiliate site, then pick only a few of the top converting products and promote those within the content. Get on FB and Twitter, do the fiver thing. But biggest thing is time. If you have a good site with good content, people will find it eventually. Another important factor is the niche. This is a very high competition niche. Have you tried digging down to a few micro niches?

u aint seen nothing yet. Just wait till end of 2012...there is a bigger event coming. I am not going to say what, I know and if I told you....you would not believe me anyway. But it is coming!!!

I do not care, I am already making good money and in niches that do really well in economic downturns, but if you think we are recovering, you need to put down the whiskey bottle.

Do not get depressed, just do research and put yourself in the niches that always do well when the economy 'chits in the bedpan' so to speak.

There are tons and tons of these niches, and you can even reverse engineer your competiors. That is what we did back in JAN 2012, and too a business from $0 per month to over 11k each month with just a simple plan.

Remember most companies are going bankrupts, but do not think about those, they are going bankrupt becuase they mis manage money and are not in the right niches. People still have money and will still spend it. You just need to stand infront of those places, services or businesses that people are spending their money on.

Stand apart from the crowd and offer something unique and high quality and you cannot lose. Think OUTSIDE the box in which you will live. Most entrepreneurs that did this back in the last GREAT DEPRESSION made off like bandits, and now is your time, where you can do the same.

To be honest with you, if you are getting desperate in your first month of IM.. you may want to go get a regular job, and save up before diving back end.. Or just quit all toether

now of course, no ones telling you to quit... but the harsh reality is, you might go the next 2 years without a sell... year 2 and 1 day, you might make a 1,000...

you just have to stick with it, never give up, and realize its not going to happen fast and easy. You've been at it one month.. Their are people who've been at it 3 years and havent made a dime.

Not saying its going to take you that long, but just be prepared for it.

Hey man I think you're promoting way too many books and you're doing it the wrong way imo.

Don't have one blog where you just throw a bunch of random ebooks on there. Dedicate the blog to the AUTHOR of the book, rather than the book itself. If you're going to give diet info, don't make it the most common knowledge in the world. Telling people to do cardio 3-4 times a week, there is absolutely NOTHING VALUABLE AT ALL about that. I can go through your entire blog finding stuff like this which is bad imo.

Talk about WHY the author is qualified, all the people he has helped, etc etc. THEN you should take quick excepts from the book, and post some teaser copy on your blog.

But right now, you're just taking random bodybuilding books, and writing REALLY BASIC articles about diet. If you see some of the conversations bodybuilders actually have about diet, on FORUMS, you will see their conversations go a lot more in depth than "if you lift light weights you tell your body it doesn't need muscle".

This blog is totally for fat people is what I'm saying. Its too basic. Any fatties who do come by the blog, will have no motivation to buy any of those books.

You should start focusing more on whats IN the book, then cover than on your blog. Then market the book DIRECTLY to amateur/veteran bodybuilders on forums. These guys would be a lot more likely to buy it imo.

I don't know but all I know is I've been a member on a bodybuilding forum a while, and I would not buy any of those books.

I do NOT see any clear reason WHY I should. I would focus on building credibility and value behind the books and ground the reason WHY you think they are so important. If you do not do that, your blog will come off more like a salespage than something offering real tangible value to people.

Soon as I landed on your blog I kept hearing the words "buy buy buy". Then I read some extremely basic information about diet/workouts. You honestly may be better off making a blog dedicated to negative calorie foods. Talk about the hundreds of benefits individual foods have. Like the fact that celery removes bloat, very few body builders know this, and HATE being bloated as a lot of them juice.

I think the main thing I'm trying to say is I see no new and interesting information to really engage my brain. You ARE a good writer, but I just think you are not really getting into your writing the way you need to. Ask yourself, "if I was reading this blog, why would **I*** want to buy any of these books?"

The reason needs to be pretty damn compelling, if its not, I doubt people will buy anything.

Good luck and just change up your approach imo. I was able to monetize a blog on panic disorder decently only because I talked about something that NOONE was talking about. Something that most people who are experts on panic disorder don't even know. I'm pretty sure thats why people bought the ebook, because I gave them a value they couldn't recieve ANYWHERE ELSE. They knew immediately when reading the blog "damn, this is REALLY useful information". It helps build your credibility imo. People are addicted to fresh, new information, if you can provide that to them on a consistent basis, they will love you for it.

If you try throwing out common rehashed knowledge, that is available ANYWHERE on the net for free, and you put the info on your blog, think WHY would that attact anyone. It wouldn't, your information needs to be unique as thats what makes it valuable imo. You can also tie your blog to facebook and post these really unique gems of information on facebook. If it is REALLY stuff people don't know, they WILL follow you. If its not, people simply won't care.

You've only been at this a month??!! You're only in debt $100??!!

I'm sorry to be harsh, but that's ridiculous. There's a STEEP learning curve to IM and while some peeople make money faster than others, it definitely takes a while. If you're desperate after only 1 month, then you need to readjust your mindset -- or quit.

Be prepared to put more time and money into IM. Most of your $$$ should go into learning IM.

What are you selling exactly? When I looked at your site, it looked like you're selling e-books. Is that correct? How many? Who is your target market?

The thing that jumped put at me when I looked at your site is the ad for dropping DRESS sizes, complete with a photo of a sexy dress. The rest of your site looks like it's geared to MEN. Lose the ad with a dress.

Readjust your thinking: realize it's not about the one-time, first-time sale. Your goal is to build a list of subscribers, build a relationship with them and THEN sell to them.

The right-hand, upper corner of your site is your most valuable real estate. Put an opt-in form there and entice your visitors to subscribe with an irresistible freebie on your topic. Then send out weekly tips on how to build their ideal body. At the end of your e-mail tips and blog posts, THEN post your plug for your e-books, but only where/when it makes sense to do so.

IM is not a get-rich-quick scheme. If you're desperate, then get a job and build your IM business on the side.

Google AdWords can be tricky and you could (probably would) easily lose your $70 in one day flat with no return on investment. You need to know more about marketing. And it's never a good idea to spend money on PPC when you know nothing about marketing and aren't prepared to kiss the money goodbye. (Yes, marketing is so often trial and error. You have to be willing to LOSE whatever money you're putting in to find winners. So if you're down to your last dollar, it's never a good idea to put it in an ad.)

A month is NOTHING in IM. The best thing you can ever do for your own success and peace of mind is to remove any self-imposed timeframe on your success.

As the late Jim Rohn (multi-millionaire and business philosopher) said: The best word is "until." How long do you give a baby to learn to walk? Do you just quit teaching the baby if they STILL haven't figured it out after 6 months?

Yes, that would be ridiculous. You keep teaching the baby until the baby learns to walk, however long it takes.

The same applies to building a successful business.

How long do you work at building a successful business? "Until you become successful!" In other words, no matter how long it takes.

If you're depending on IM to pay your basic bills right now, forget it. The learning curve is steep and if you're just starting, your best bet is to get a job to pay your basic bills while you work on your business on the side.

There's nothing wrong with this and everything right with this. You need to pay bills NOW. So get a job and make sure they're covered. It's faster and easier. Then, go to work part-time on your IM business. It's nearly impossible to build a successful business if you're truly desperate and need to pay basic living expenses NOW. It makes you desperate and people (potential customers, that is) can smell desperation a mile away. A simple, pay-my-basic-bills job will do WONDERS for your IM success just by taking the immediate pressure off.

THEN go to work on building your IM business. Commit to learning everything you can about IM and then apply it. Be willing to go through some trial and error. Decide that you're going to work at it until...

A lot of times, people hate working a full-time job while trying to build a business on the side. They focus too much on the job they hate and on how their business isn't growing fast enough.

What they fail to realize is they actually have it pretty good:

    1. They have their basic bills covered. Maybe there's nothing left over for extras, but if you've ever been unemployed, even for a short time, you know how stressful and impossible it is. However much you hate your job or working as an employee for someone else, there is HONOR in working an honest job and paying down your obligations (bills).

    2. They have the opportunity to work PART-TIME on building their fortune!

Seriously. Having a job to pay your basic bills (obligations) and the opportunity to work part-time on your fortune (long-term wealth) is a pretty good situation!

I was unemployed for a year and a half recently. I lost my job in Feb. 2010 and only landed my current job last August (2011). As it got longer and longer before I got a new job, I got more and more desperate. Initially, I was ok because I had savings in retirement funds. But even that ran out and I was in a VERY BAD PLACE emotionally. Desperate isn't even the word for it.

Now I have a job I don't particularly like. The pay is HORRIBLE. BUT... it pays my very basic bills (NO extras) and that relieves a whole lot of pressure. And I can work on my business without desperation. Yay!

Here's an EXCELLENT talk from Jim Rohn on "The Magic of Part-Time." He's an excellent and very entertaining speaker.

Sometimes what we need most is a new perspective...

(The example used in the video (audio) is MLM, but everything he says in this speech applies to IM.)

    Hope this helps!

Fret not. You can always make money online. Here's how:

Fiverr.com: Go signup an account there and sell any service you can think of.
    - Have good presentation skills or a great body? Offer video testimonial service.
    - Good in writing? Offer writing services.
    - Have any SEO tools like Scrapebox, etc? Offer backlinking services.
    - Have a cool dog? Make a video with your dog holding someone's brands.
    - Have an apple/amazon/etc account? Offer to write good reviews on their products.
    - Have talent singing, drawing, jokes, etc? Offer those too.
    - You have nothing? THINK AGAIN.
Think hard. Think out of the box. Some ppl make decent living out of Fiverr. A good lot made enough to pay for their hosting, etc expenses. Make your gig delivered within a day and you'll see customers flow growing pretty fast.

You make $4 per gig and you only need 25 to get $100. Just do 1 5 mins gig per day and you are good to go.

oDesk or eLance: Unless you have REAL skills like writing, programming, copywriting don't bother about it.

It's extremely easy to make money online. It's just not that easy to make a living and it's a little difficult to make a decent living out of it.

Then again, if it easy, every Tom Dick and Harry could do it and you won't be earning anything as well.

    Good luck!

Th reason you don't have any sales is because your site sucks SEO-wise. I checked it on MajesticSEO and it doesn't have any backlinks pointing to it. I don't know the site's rankings in Google for particular keywords. Since it doesn't have any backlinks, I guess that it doesn't rank high in SERPs. Hence, the low traffic.

Your site belongs to very competitive niches (muscle building, fat loss, fitness, etc.) so you're up against other websites (competitors) who most likely have hundreds or thousands of backlinks or have established themselves as authorities in the field. So it will take a massive effort on your part just to crack into the first page of the SERPs.

I think that you'll just be wasting your money playing the PPC game if you don't know how to play it. It would be better to spend your remaining money on a good linkbuilding service. You can look at the Warrior For Hire section here and check out which linkbuilding services have excellent customer feedback.

Then take a break and look for ways to earn cash on the side while you work on your site's SEO. Offer some service on Fiverr or apply for jobs in Odesk. I'm sure you have a skill that other people are looking for; maybe WordPress or web design. Good luck!

P.S. Also read and follow RedShifted's advice above. It will boost your sales conversions dramatically.

Hey rdogg, it's been almost ten days since you started this thread. How have things been?

I completely understand the situation you're in and how you must be feeling, but really, it's just a hurdle in the road that most of us have to go through to make any money online--hell, I'm still there.

Many have given great advice on your thread, so be sure to heed them. But still, it must be really hard to get anything out of a website not getting enough traffic, doing things like collecting leads can still wait, in my opinion. Take your time to learn how to properly optimize your site, on and off page, and make sure you have quality content on your site. Content that provide so much value you would be proud to show it to anyone.

Of course doing all that takes time, especially if you're doing it all yourself--content creation, site building and all. So, don't rush to see results from these sites. Focus on one site for now, and build it up slowly and steadily. Learn as you go, 'cause that's going to benefit you in the long run, along with the passive income you have the potential to achieve from your site.

In the "short-run" however, I would also recommend you offer services--article-writing, designing, programming, or really anything you might be good at. Offer them here, on Elance, vWorker, oDesk, etc..

Take an active role in contacting prospects who may need your service--make yourself known, and know others. Provided you manage to make your services known, offering services almost guarantees you income in the sense that there's no waiting for visitors to drop by your site, and hopefully buy something from you. Transaction is much quicker and more certain, so to speak.

IM is definitely not easy, and unfortunately, spending that excessive money at the beginning is almost a necessity, 'cause that's where you lean, not just what's good or not, but the similarities between teaching and experimentation, along with the little technical bits you pick up here and there. It will come a time where suddenly everything clicks, and you will find all the little bits of information you have learnt over the months/years all piece together into one cool little puzzle.

So again, while that long process of learning is taking place, find a way to offer a service.

Well, this is just my two cents--hope it helped. All the best!

What you have is a website with brief reviews. I know you are proud of it, but I think you can take it to a new level. Up your game!

This page, your last blog post:

    Best muscle building ebook

Only has 454 words, including everything on the page such as links to other pages.

Informative articles in magazines are much longer, detailed, and informative. Your goal is not to "get by" with a 400 word article, but to be "the man" with a 1200-2500 word article that will cause people to link to you and share your site.

Ask yourself, compared to other muscle building sites how does your compare? Is there any reason to visit your site or to come back to it? I think you can go into much, much more detail. You should add video.

Make each blog post the ultimate resource on a very specific issue that naturally relates to whatever you are promoting in the post.

There was a post with an interview with some bodybuilder. But the background information was real sparse. I think everything you can can be greatly expanded with more detail and information.

I went to high school with someone you may recognize - Bill Phillips. He started out writing a newsletter (pre-blog days) at home and it took him a lot longer than one month to be a success.

You're in a competitive field and as a result you need quality.

Since you're 17 maybe consider some posts from "the teenage bodybuilder" - that may attract people similar to you, who know you understand them and are more willing to take your advice.

As someone recommended, video marketing may help for many reasons:

    - Don't need a website or hosting (can upload videos to youtube)
    - Don't need to spend lot of time writing articles
    - YouTube videos rank really fast on Google (sometimes within hs and even without a single backlink).

    Some Tips:

    - If you're in a hurry, try to promote offers with instant paypal payments (like some from WarriorPlus, RapBank and others).

    - Do some keyword research. If you don't have a keyword tool, i'll give you a free copy of one of my own that have sold through WF so you can see which keywords you can easily dominate with videos in no time (special gift just for you).

    - Creating Your Videos: This goes against me but don't go for paid tools right now. You can work with animoto.com for online video production and make 1 video in 15 or 20 minutes. Make 1 video per keyword you want to target. Will take some time, but invest on automation once you're more relaxed (not desperate).

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Diego.

Comment: I may not monitor this specific thread so if there's something else i can help, please pm me.

If you're really desperate for some cash, I'd suggest dividing your time between offering a service and IM.

If you're a good writer, you can sign up with a content mill and almost immediately earn a few dollars.

Signing up with CMs that pay weekly, rather than monthly, gives you almost instant gratification. Sure, the money won't be stellar, but desperate times call for desperate measures. It'll keep you afloat until your IM efforts begin to generate sales.

I agree with the writer of an earlier post . One month is hardly time enough to get desperate . You are starting in IM with no money saved . Not a good idea. If you are that desperate find a job in the brick and motor world . At you age , any job is good enough.

Start learning in IM when you have earned sufficient money in the world outside IM . The offices , Restuarants etc . At your age no need to be desperate. You need to go out and find something .

It is understandable why you are desperate. But be careful because desperation can lead you to frustration. You are still very young and can still get a lot going in your favor; just be focus, consult well to know how your site can be improved for better income. Try free traffic for your site Don't give up but believe in your ability to be successful in your endeavor. Best of Luck !

What have you done to promote your site? It's not even in the signature line of your post! There's tons of free ways to promote: facebook, twitter, ext. Post links in your signature lines to help promote your SEO.
Also, as a beginner, may I suggest that you should have started with a more basic (and cheap) hosting site such as webs.com?

    Hi,
Even if you get one sale for whatever you are selling and it gives you a bit of motivation is not going to bring in enough money to continue with your marketing.

I do suggest that you get a job and have a permanent income of some sort to get you going with your marketing and living. But I have the impression that some knowledge in IM is lacking. You can learn marketing without having to spend a fortune. Before you can do any selling to amount to anything you have to build a list of customers first.

    Best Regards,

Yes, desperation can be a good start to be serious in IM business but must always remember desperation could not guarantee you any success.

I bet you heard from video sales letter millionaire who success today start IM in desperation state. There is no way you can grab success if you desperate. Get job first and when you have money to spent start growing your own business.

I have been in IM for 6 month now, and honestly I don't make a dime at first 4 month. I drove myself to desperation state to get serious and give myself time and proper finance management before continue persuing my dream in IM.

Now, I have jobs and side income from IM business. When you reach this state, you can grow your business to next level.

P.S there are lots of way to make money online. Keep it simple and first thing first. If you need to pay your basic bills, offer some service. even basic service exp. installing wordpress, write articles, worth a lot.

You're doing IM wrong, forget about it until you have a stable source of income. You have to take responsibility for your own finances otherwise you'll bankrupt yourself, following pipe line dreams.

That's such a stupid comment, sell what to who and how exactly do you propose he finds these people? What happens if he doesn't own a lawn mower, you going to suggest he take out some credit cards too?

Nice to see the OP actually bothering to take note of the advice and info given here by other warriors! Normally its a quick, stupid, lazy post from someone who cannot be bothered to use the WARRIOR FORUM search facility and then they never answer!

17 & desperate! Wow, can remember Desperate, but cannot remember being 17!

Get stuck into the advice given, move all the crap out of your everyday IM time, leaving you with the core reason you have no sales, you have no traffic.

Start promoting your money site, on all the free article, directory, promo sites and lists you can find, do at least 2 hours or more of this, EVERYDAY (inc weekends!) now.

Look for "local" contacts, to get your potential first sale(s) by putting out some postcards or flyers in local store windows, start getting your website/your name, known by people / family /friends, close to you, use your Adwords voucher (not your $70 cash left) on one very, very low competition niche clickbank product, that people want for SUMMER!

Keep at it, desperate is nowhere near how you are feeling, desperate has gone, positive is here now!

If you get desperate after just one month then your expectations were wrong to begin with. Internet Marketing isn't easy, there is no shortcut to success, only hard work, proper knowledge and most important, PATIENCE!

It took me about 6 months back in 2006 when I first started out to start making some sales and profit from my websites, it took other marketers more, and others less. The point is, you need to be patient and consistent with your marketing efforts.

If you don't have money to invest, don't! Save those $70 dollars, I am pretty sure you are way too inexperienced to create a profitable Adwords campaing. If you don't know what you're doing, Adwords will eat up those $70 dollars in no time and you'll probably get no sales from it.

Why not look at some free traffic generating techniques to try and get your first few sales in. Article marketing (especially with EzineArticles.Com) is the best way to get some good quality FREE targeted traffic to any website.

As a final advice, I recommend you don't give up. If you don't have more money to invest, just pay your hosting monthly and write articles until you get your first few sales.

Here's a little tip that you might not know. You only need to pay for one hosting plan, to host multiple sites. There's no reason to shut down other sites because you can't afford to pay multiple monthly hosting charges. 7 dollars a month is all you need to pay.

Get on the phone with customer support of your hosting provider and ask them how to install multiple sites into your 1 hosting plan.

    Desperate? Yikes!

Let me tell you a story...

When I started out I was holding down a 9 to 5 day job and then working every evening and night on IM Monday thru Friday. I also spent ALL day on Sat and Sun doing IM.

I did this (job + IM) for TWO YEARS straight and did not make 1 penny. Seriously bad. Talk about DESPERATE.

But hang in there, you will turn a corner.

For me - I stopped trying to do things my way, got a couple of mentors and never looked back...

    Good luck to you.
