The Price of Starbucks

As a Brit I have a simple question for Americans.
I want to make a comparison between the cost of an offer I am preparing and the cost of a coffee in Starbucks. Yes I know that the coffee comes in different sizes but say it's a meduim cappuccino.
Can someone tell me how much a medium cappuccino costs in Starbucks in the US?
We have Starbucks here in the UK but I wouldn't be surprised if UK and US prices are different. A lot of Amazon UK products are notoriously more expensive than the same products on Amazon.com.
