How to Get Steady IM Income Every Month

Hi,

to present myself, I am 37 yo with 3 kids and a parent to look after and in need of some extra income to survive.

my question is i read so much about im, i can create website using dreamweaver, drupal(expert level), wordpress, proficient in photoshop, illustrator, SEO, extremely good at video editing using premiere pro or after effect but i just can't find a way to make steady income online.

i mean some time i get like 100£ from google for youtube videos, or 60 for adsense in some blog i hold but places like amazon, clickbank, cj i just never make anything from them and i know thats where i can get steady from.

i am not looking for pity, just some real references, or mentor(i don't mind sharing as long as you can teach me the right way or road).
i think i think too much and less action, soi need a mentor, i can do anything you want and can use some of my asset too(few share hosting, create website for you using wordpress or drupal, do photoshop work for you, or edit videos for you.)

i know its hard to trust someone online but i can guaranty you am geniune.

any serious books recommendations welcomed.

i bought the facebook like exploitation book yesterday and started reading through it, anymore welcomed.

I know am going to be insulted but as i come to find out, if you don't ask you never get the answer.

Erm, not entirely sure why you'd think that, but if that's what you want to believe, just know that it's harming your progress.

OK, on to the more constructive/important stuff...

Congratulations on the income from YouTube and Adsense, first of all. If that's working, do more of it to get it more consistent.

With all the skills you have, the temptation is to do everything. The necessity is to play to your strengths. Could you set up sites for other people and charge for that? Could you create a product (the answer is yes, it's easy just find someone who has done it before, more on that in a moment)?

The way I changed my own income was by starting to create and sell products in other niches (i.e. not Internet Marketing).

For that, I learned from several mentors, but for me, the most effective one was Lee McIntyre. Feel free to drop me a message via my blog (below) or as a private message on here and I'll let you know which course is good. Alternatively, check out my blog for a link to 'My Internet Marketing Mentor'.

Another fantastic mentor is Nicola Cairncross from The Business Success Factory.

Steady income from affiliate marketing generally comes from one of two ways:

Build niche sites for buying keywords

or Build a list of subscribers, sell them a product and then promote affiliate offers to them.

I know from my own experience, the latter works far more effectively as you are building an asset that you can make money from in the future as well as the present.

You can also build a list from the affiliate niche sites and sell a product on the back-end but it's not as strong as selling your own product as that creates a rapport with the buyers and builds trust with them. You can then ask them what else they need/want and create that product for them too.

The key is to provide great value for people rather than starting from the point of making lots of money. The money comes as a bi-product of you helping others achieve their aims. Of course, your business is set up to make money and your focus is on building a great business that makes plenty of cash, but the method of doing that is by giving enough other people what they want.

Hope that helps to give you a start in the right direction.

I've heard good things about that system - another good one is John Thornhills Masterclass, it also has a $4.95 month long trial period.

Start an offline SEO business, should be pretty easy to run with your qualifications.
Outsource what you can and provide something that goes above and beyond the competition in your area. You can achieve stable income with this kind of a business.

Sounds like you have a lot of things you're good at... My first thought is to attempt to be a freelancer.

Besides that, you can always try to promote other peoples products... via landing pages.. you're good at SEO and webdesign.. You dont even need any other help.

Find you a niche market or 2 to promote to, try to stand out and be unique, get a product off clickbank or other cpa networks, and give it a go.

Nothing is easy. You just have to find a path, find someone people want, and keep pressing it until it starts to work for you.

Exactly. This is a great starting point.

The only issue with it as a long term strategy is that it means exchanging time for money. That's why product creation or niche affiliate marketing is likely to help you more. As the son of a mother who has to care for her parents, I know how little you can plan your time, so building a list of people who've bought your products is a strong option.

Out of curiosity, I wonder if there might be a market for selling your knowledge online (via tutorials filmed with Camtasia of you setting up a Wordpress or Drupal site, for example).

It seems like you have enough knowledge by now. You even said yourself that you love learning and reading, but at a certain point, learning and reading isn't going to make you any money. It's taking action on what you've learned. So do something, anything, work hard at it and you'll make more than if you just kept learning forever. There is too much knowledge out there to know everything. I think you have a good knowledge base already and now it's time to take some action! Good luck Fricla!

As it sounds like you have a lot of knowledge and strengths building websites, utilizing photoshop, SEO etc, you should consider creating a product, i.e. WSO, and sell here.

I can tell you that, from experience, one of the fastest ways to online and affiliate income is creating and selling a product because when you create a product, such as a WSO, you are actually creating TWO assets and TWO income streams:

      Assets:
      1. WSO
      2. Buyers List

      Income Stream:
      1. WSO - Immediate and future income
      2. Buyers List - Email marketing (send affiliate offers)

After you have created, marketed and sold your first WSO, continue email marketing to your newly-minted buyers list and create your second product (i.e. rinse and repeat).

That's the exact formula I used to create multiple WSOs and take my online income from $0 to 5-figures per month!

What's great about it is that you get a 2-for-1 ratio each time you create a product; that is, you get the 2 assets and 2 income streams each time!

      I hope that helps some!

      Cheers,

      Anthony

Best thing to do is learn and implement. Success online requires consistency and that mostly is responsible for a lot of successes online. Consistency always beats out complexity. So be consistent, be a learner and take massive action.

Also, don't be afraid to lose money in the learning process. It's part of the game. It's the cost of doing business. You'll get better at it and improve as you go along. So all the costs, if you don't have it, make way to have it and make things happen for you. It's tough, but others have survived it. If others can do it, you can do it as long as you commit to it.

With the skill set you mentioned you could do extremely well with freelancing. It is an area where
you could see quick results and you wouldn't have to take on something completely new but apply
    what you already know.

Taking into account what you said about your current situation, it seems you don't have much
time to be trying what works and what doesn't but you need some immediate results.

With any system it will take you some time to learn new things, apply them and see the results.
That's why I think you would do very well doing freelancing work and if you want work on new
things in your free time. One thing also to take into consideration is that you don't need to know
about everything, just focus on few key things where you excel.

  • Hi Fricla. I recommend the following:

    • Develop a site and your portfolio that can show interested buyers your level of Web development, graphics design, video development and onsite SEO expertise. This also means you must post relevant and useful written and video content about Web development, onsite and offsite SEO, graphics design and video development with the tools you use.

    • Develop an easy to understand and simple to follow video tutorial that can guide non-tech savvy people in managing their Wordpress or Drupal sites, updating its text, image and video content, and implementing onsite and offsite SEO. Divide this video tutorial into easier to understand and simpler to follow modules. Post these video modules as an affiliate product in various affiliate networks, and offer a 90% or more commissions per sale, to entice others to become your affiliates, so they can drive traffic to your site, promote your service offers and other products. Integrate your mailing list opt-in process into the payment processing and affiliate sign up systems of your site for this affiliate product, so you can populate your mailing list with buyer and affiliate traffic.

    • Develop a service offer that you can post in the Warriors for Hire section of this forum, and also post your offer in other heavily trafficked Web forums that focus on Internet marketing, SEO and social media marketing topics among other relevant subject areas. Mention your video modules, first as a free value-added offer for service buyers and that buyers can opt-in as your affiliates and mailing list subscribers, and second as a product that they can separetely buy and that buyers can opt-in as your affiliates and mailing list subscribers. Integrate your mailing list opt-in process into your payment and affiliate sign up systems on your site for these offers, so you can further populate your mailing list with buyer and affiliate traffic.

    • Develop a more extensive video tutorial divided into easy to understand and simpler to follow modules. This tutorial should guide others in configuring the name servers of their domains, setting up Wordpress or Drupal in their servers, developing and modifying themes/templates, using those themes/templates for their sites, developing images and videos with the tools you use, using those images and videos on their sites, and implementing onsite and offsite SEO. This also means you must update your site content with relevant and useful written and video content that can effectively serve as pre-sell materials for this video tutorial.

    • Post this more extensive video tutorial as an affiliate product in various affiliate networks, with a 40% or more commissions per sale. Post a product offer in Web forums focusing on Web development, Web and graphics design and video development among other related topics. Don't forget to mention in your product sales offers that buyers can opt-in as your affiliates and mailing list subscribers.

    • By the time you get lots of service buyers, screen, test, hire, orient and train others with suitable expertise to help you provide the services your buyers need, and use your two video tutorials for orientation and training purposes.

Remember: It'd be best if you establish your reputation in those Web forums as a friendly, expert resource of useful info, advice, content, products and services relevant to Web development, Web and graphics design, video development, onsite and offsite SEO. Do this before you start posting product and service offers in those Web forums.

Tip: It'd be best to screen, test, hire, orient and train others in doing marketing, administrative, management and training work, especially once your team and clientele base start to grow.
