To Squeeze or not to Squeeze?

I'm deciding on how I will guide traffic from my copywritten SEO articles. I was thinking about directing them to a squeeze page, where they can get a 3 page sample of the ebook by joining mailing list then letting them go through to the site or obviously navigate away.

Is this a good way to direct traffic instead of sending them to the page directly or should I simple allow them to sign up for the 3 page sample on the main sales page?

Any input would be very helpful as I'm trying to weight the pros and cons of each.

Your plan sounds good. You may even want to give them a little taste before they opt in just to capture their attention.

  • You could start a paragraph details some hot info, then stop just at the good point..and tell them to buy\optin.It works for tv episodes.

I'm new to this aspect of it, but I think that having a free offer that leads into your product is always the best way to go. People are always hungry for more information so I think this would be a great way to entice them to your squeeze page!

Oh please, please drive traffic to your Squeeze page in this case. Squeeze page is designed to capture leads.

By driving the traffic to your squeeze page, you can offer your 3 page report for their names and email addresses.

Don't give them a chance to think. Present the solution to them on your squeeze page, and the only way to get it is to opt in.

Is either a YES or NO.

This will increase your opt-in rate.

I would say that you want to use the squeeze to capture the lead. Make it so enticing that they cannot refuse but to leave there information.

A good idea yuyuan, I think its the quantity and quality of the free sources you offer that make an opt in list that much more successful! Nice one!

A 3 page sample is the right idea to entice them, but maybe you can do the first chapter. It just sounds more appealing

Squeeze - You may not have to release any chapters of your report if you make the bullets compelling enough
