Everyday I get a bunch of Junk IM Email. As an Affiliate myself, well I do business with Vendors mostly. As far as IM the only business I would do with another affiliate is most likely on a JV or swap contacts, but that is not the kind of email I usually get from other Affiliates. I get poorly written pitch emails like this one.

The point is, to make a good sales pitch. Your email targets are not idiots, most of what comes in my email junk folder is unsolicited. Scraped of passed on by another Marketer. Just be truthful in your presentation, If you do not know them through correspondence then state so. As for links, dont shove affiliate links in front of their face. Throw up a youtube link first. People trust youtube links and would most likely watch it, then just provide a aff link lower down on the email or listed on your youtube video.

I agree with this completely, that I'm on a few IM lists. It's easy to spot who is genuine in their emails or which ones are just trying to blast out as many affiliate offers as possible. I think what makes the situation worse is the several WSO's claiming it's a quick way to reach $100+ days, while even recommending sending out affiliate offers 2-3 times DAILY.

I get the point of trying to get your link in front of as many people as possible, but if you're not focusing on building any type of relationship, it seems pointless. I'm currently working on building a list (only 6 subscribers so far, so working that out still), but I definitely don't plan on blasting affiliate offers out constantly.

That sound like hard sell to me, I usually check 'spam' and they will never end up in the inbox again.

Yeah I hear ya there, I am doing a different approach on building my list. Its a long process, but I definitely get a relationship going first.

the player pic will get you clicks, but it can be exploited. I myself would use just a link, and if your sending out html emails, maybe a pic of the product for eye candy.

Unfortunately I think a lot of people are looking for the easy way of doing things, instead of taking the effort to sit down and think of how to put in the work to create emails and offers which look professional and stand out.

This is why whenever a new technique is taught, you get a load of spammers trying to do it the quick and easy way.

i set up 1 email account for this and i check it only when i optin to check the download link or whatever. this way my main email inbox is clean most of the time and i don't get distracted by the ever going hard selling email blasts.

And most of the time, they stop providing value after a couple of emails. Thereon, it's just sales, sales and sales!

Give me something to nibble on, from time to time. Then I might click that link you want. What say?

Best of sending them to your own Blog with your Youtube video embedded on it as Youtube pages have a unbelieveable amount of page leaks.
