This looks like a cool way to start promoting your own kindle products

Hey I never noticed that... Same we can't promote the products with our own affiliate links.

I was wondering about that too, but this topic answered that question.

I did not see a store tab, maybe because I am viewing from Canada? I did however notice the the subscribe annotation running through the entire video, which imho really downgrades the otherwise high quality production.

    Here's the rundown so far:

May 17th, 2012, YouTube announced the YouTube Merch Store Tab.

    Artists can now
use the store tab to sell their albums, downloads, merchandise, tickets to live shows directly on their YouTube channel. (where most fans are gonna watch/listen to their music)

Fulfillment companies such as Amazon, Google Play, and Cafe Press, are a few services that integrate with this new system on YouTube. (they forgot selling info products, but whatever)

I've been all about the Merch Store Tab since before it came out. It's been my dream to show artists that they can make it on their own if they think like marketers once in awhile. With all the artists out there that have no idea how to make money, YouTube has given us a crazy powerful way to market to a whole new offline audience.

But it's ALL going to change soon.

The YouTube Merch Store feature will be permanently closed in November and replaced by a new feature now available that will allow you to promote your related merchandise directly in your videos called Merch Annotations.

EVEN BETTER! Clickable annotations that go to an external website! Hazzah!

Keep your eyes peel guys. Especially you offline consultants. There is a lot of money in this.
