Google analytics data for my landing pages - What is this telling me? Please HELP!!!

Hello everyone, i am in need for some help. I see my bank account getting depleted with these click happy people who come, spend time on the site and just disappear never to be seen again.

My PPC has a mix or exact and broad match. It was setup by a professional so i dont question how it was setup or if we are getting the right traffic.

Now, attached is a image ( discussion.jpg ) of landing page statistics filter (segmented) only for pain traffic. Like i said, i cannot afford too much so i am limiting it to around $15 / day.

Please take a look at the attached image ( discussion.jpg ). I had to take out the exact URLs and have instead, added my own description of the type of landing page it is.

You can reference the number to the left.

Also, the line graph above shows visits and goal conversion rate which is dismal to say the least or maybe it is not.

Last, we are in a B2B healthcare SAS niche and going broke trying to make it work.

My monthly revenues are $1000 a month. Have gotten about 30 leads in the past 2 months and have not converted a single one. WT .... you got the point.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    well, there is not much at all anyone can really tell you from just those numbers. However, i will give you a few ideas of what i am guessing is going wrong.

    1. your stats seem to indicate you are sending most of the traffic to a main or top category page. Most ppc ppc campaigns designed to generate leads send the traffic to a very specific lead generation page. but i have no idea without seeing your site.

    2. just from your niche being sas for health care. I am betting you are not actually getting the decision makers to your site. you are getting researchers, but not the actual people who can or would even actually buy your SAS.

    3. obviously your ppc targeting or your lead generation call to action is not working. You need to change one of those if you want to see your goal conversions go up. You say your ppc is done by a professional. Do you know they are a professional at getting results or just at charging to manage ppc campaigns?

    Also, you are under 1k visitors. Thats barely enough to really get any meaningful statistical data from.

    give us the url's you are sending people to and that will help some.

      I was initially sending traffic to the main page, then to main category pages and now recently, started to send traffic to what i was calling "super duper focused landing page". Looking at the stats, i feel i have a more of a bounce rate when these people are "cornered" into a landing page and ask to "contact us".

      You are correct, maybe these people are just researching and / or are not the decision makers. 100% agree.

      So, i tried to accomplish that with our new landing page but the bounce rate and time / pages per visit went down. That is the 3rd listed page in my image i have attached.

      Just managing PPC, i had to get out of that contract because all they did was send more traffic to pages that were not converting and keeps telling me but that is not how it should work. lol, could not believe these guys.

      That is true, i refined the campaign a bit more yesterday, hoping to get more traffic. Hopefully, good traffic.

    Hi,

    1. You need to determine a very specific goal for each PPC visitor and then tailor both the keywords, the ads and the landing pages exactly to that goal (or goals). Any other way, and you'll continue to burn money.

    2. You may also want to consider doing some retargeting so that you can touch these visitors more than once.

    having a higher bounce rate and less time spent on a focused landing page than on a page with lots of links to other content is entirely predictable, and not a bad thing.

    bounce rate is simply the number of people who visit one page and leave. If your landing page has no "leaks" then people will either optin to become a lead or leave... creating a bounce. On your main page, you might have them clicking around to other pages, but is that really the point?

    What is the incentive you are offering for them to sign up on your landing page? Also, every page that a prospect would possibly land on should be setup as a lead generation magnet. You should have calls to signup and receive some free information throughout your content. In addition, have you tried researching and connecting with healthcare professionals on LinkedIn. I believe LinkedIn would work well for you. Andrew Warner has a really good course that he did with Los Silva on Mixergy Premium that would help you get leads through LinkedIn.

      PassiveIncomeTeacher - I am a premium member at mixergy. I did watch that show but not quite in that detail.

      I will revisit that again.

      I have taken all the advice that i can get to build our landing pages. However, i think David above stated correctly, those people may not be the decision makers.
