Please, please, please don't say you gave any info to someone who sent you that via email.

If you did, change your Paypal password immediately.

Phew. You should be fine then.

Folks... Don't reply to anything like this via email. Ever. Paypal won't ask you to. And don't click through any links in emails like that. Go to https://www.paypal.com

        Note the 's' in https.

A rep is likely to manually review and unlock.

      I wouldn't sweat it.

Paul is right. Paypal will never ask to give information through email.

      I second what eternalwarrior said.

If PayPal requires you to supply more information to remove the limitation of your account, they would need you to log in to your account. You'll supply whatever piece of information is needed from within your PayPal account and not through email.

They will only notify you through email that you need to log in to your PayPal account.

Same thing happened me a few days ago, but a 2 minute phonecall got all the limitations lifted again. I'm in the UK, and according to the Paypal website

"If your call is about a limitation placed on your account, please phone Monday-Friday 8am-8.30pm, Saturday 8am-6.30pm or Sunday 9am-6.30pm"

Hopefully your opening hours will be similar. Ring them and see - at worst you will find out what time they are available.

    Hope you get sorted quickly.

From my personal experience, getting in the phone with them speeds things up 10x. I once had my account limited for weeks with a couple K in it. All it took was one phone call. Turns out one of their staff had just not gotten around to hitting the approve button. So that's my advice.

This is not the first time we got this problem in WF. I think it is better you move to alternate payment methods like 2CO and Moneybookers. Paypal is going down the drain IMO.

If you ever get an email supposedly from Paypal, they are often fraudulent.
If it says Dear Customer, then it is usually fake. Look at the email it came from. If it asks you to click on anything, it is fake. Paypal will never ask you to click a link in an email. Send any fake emails to spoof@paypal.com so they can address the issue.

I had an email yesterday telling me my account was limited and I did all these steps.. (which I have done many times before) and they emailed back confirming it was a fake.

I keep hearing about more and more issues with Paypal restrictions, it has me nervous. I'm looking into other options. I agree with some of the previous posts...never give info via e-mail, use secure login only.
