Every subscription leads to a new sign up form. I mean i understand some of it but all this back and forth and round and round stuff is making my head hurt. Does everyone start out this way or is it just me?

You will have to be a bit more specific if you want an answer. I'm not really sure what you are talking about.

I disagree. I say sign up for EVERYTHING but do it in a smart way.

Give yourself a second email or something that redirects.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies (or competitors in this case) even closer.

You don't have to buy it all. LOL, don't get signing up and buying confused with each other.

when i first came online about 14 months ago all this jargon that was flying around was confusing the hell out of me

the way you have to approach this prob is to use it to your advantage

because everytime you join a new list you have a perfect opportunity to learn how the top marketers are building their business. If you pay attention to how they market to you and not what they market to you then your on the right track

thats what i did and i saved many emails that i was sent for many months now i have a great selection of content that i can ideas from

    hope this helps

I would suggest you decide what you are wanting to do. Find a good team and or sponsor. Then Put all your energy and efforts into that. I would not try to many programs or you will lose your mind and call it quits.

You also need to know that it is not going to happen over night, and it takes a lot for than 5 minutes a day. Whether they say it takes that or not. I have not seen anything on the internet that takes that little of effort.

There is a ton of good info here on the forum, read all that you can, and keep striving forward and stay strong. That will get you where you want to be.

There is so much to learn it's really overwhelming. There's just too many parts that need to come together to make it whole. I finally stopped spending so much time here on the forum and put all my energy into building my first site. Once I get it running smoothly, I'll get the next one up and so on. The conduit method looks interesting in building review sites. Looks easy enough to set up once you get your affiliate codes.

    good luck!

Its because there is so much to learn and everyone is in a big hurry to be successful that most people loose heart. If this is the case with you then you need to change your approach. Think of the Internet as a discipline, like a university course. Now I know that many have not gone to university but there are other paradigms.

What would you do if you took on training as an apprentice? Would you immediately go out and buy yourself a business similar to the one you are interested in learning and consider running it all on your own? Would you invest in hundreds of books, or buy a grat swathe of tools? No! Of course you wouldn't. You would wait to be shown all you need to know from people who are able to teach and guide you. To do it otherwise is where the confusion comes in.

Instead of starting with one course of leadership many jump from opportunity to opportunity. They switch course several times, often in the same day. They have no strategy for learning anything and they take on board everything that anyone tells them. More confusion.

They join every list going and get their email boxes spammed to death. More confusion. STOP! Be practical and think before you leap.

From experience most warriors will tell you that it can take years to learn anything this way. So lets start over.

Draw yourself a plan. What do you want to do? What are your goals? Do you even know? Most people have no idea. Thus more confusion.

OK. Let me run something by you. If you don't know what you want to do and you don't know much about the Internet or how it works isn't it time to start to learn from the basics up. Lets reflect again on the apprenticeship.

People who go into a trade usually have a feeling for it. They take on something they like to do, whether its cooking, fixing cars, painting houses, or whatever. But they start at the bottom. It might be mixing the paint for the boss or beating eggs in a bowl, or turning carrots into sticks. They don't get involved because they are going to be millionaires overnight.

To make money on the Internet takes skill, time, and knowledge. Its the latter that most people lack. So where do you get it? Well, this forum and others like it are good places to start. And the concensus of opinion from warriors seems to be DON'T BUY ANYTHING or commit yourself until you know what you are doing.

Be prepared to learn, to grovel if you have to to find out what to do. Don't sell yourself short and don't try to run the business before you learn what its all about.

There are some excellent course run in here by warriors and they are inexpensive and mostly fun to do. Why not get involved in them? Warriors also take on 'apprentices' in the form of being a mentor and helping them to sort themselves out. Some do that for quite reasonable sums as well. So if you are confused take stock and think things through.

Start at the bottom not at the top and observe, observe, observe. Ask questions, get advice and do some courses.

    Hope this helps.

    God bless

I'm with you on this - and I'm not new to IM at all. It drives me crazy. I signed up for a "free" offer, which led to at least 3 up sells and 3 down sells, and then a bonus "free" offer which led to 3 up sells and 3 down sells, and then another bonus and another and another.

It was crazy and I got so lost that I couldn't even remember what the heck I was doing it for in the first place.

Luckily, I used one of my secondary emails. And, I don't really think it's that good of a tactic because it frustrated me and the person lost credibility and I don't use the product and never did get the paid up sell(s). I really think I would have eventually upgraded to a paid version if the marketing approach had been different.

Just take it with a grain of salt. There's plenty of straight shooters out there. Ultimately we all (most of us) want to make money at some point, but many people use a softer approach, with good content and sometimes even information that you don't have to sign up for  (at least yet)
