Complete Noob Question? - Where to start???

Hello all!

I have been dabbling in IM for about 7 months now...Posting articles, building sites and so on, not balls to the wall but PT (Part Time). There is so much info out there where does a complete newbi start? The crap that is out there is amaizing (and I know they make the bucks from the crap) but from the folks that know is Amazon better to start with or clickbank or cj? Like I said so much info! Looking for guidance from the best! Thanks in advance for help!

    Here's a thread for a complete newbie.

As far as affiliate marketing goes, I like using Clickbank. Amazon works well as a supplement to Clickbank products.

You may want to take a good internet marketing course. Do search on warrior forum, you should find some here

    Hello Andreekriz,

    Here's a quick and dirty...

    1. Ask yourself, "how bad do you want IM/Business success?"
"Am I prepared to equip myself with the necessary tools and
    knowledge to insure my success?"

    2. What are you REALLY passionate about... If you can,
try to operate in a niche that you're REALLY passionate about.
Not absolutely necessary, but boy will it help, when you're
    just getting started!

    3. Find a knowledgeable person who's already doing what
you would like to do. You may already know that person
or you may have noticed some of his/her posts on the Warrior
forum and didn't realize he/she would make a great mentor
    for you.

    4. Ask that person if they would be willing to coach you.
BE BOLD! If not, PLEASE find a GOOD site (membership
preferably with a low (or one time) charge.

    5. Do NOT spend a considerable amount of time on
various forums, including this one. Your master plan
will dictate how much time you invest in forum time.

    6. By now, you should have decided on a niche after
    careful and diligent research.

    7. The coach you choose or the membership site you
join will layout a concise, well-thought-out, blueprint
for your immediate and long term success.

    Conclusion...

Please be very careful how you spend your
time online, and especially on this forum.

As you have witnessed, you have a ton of
vultures lurking around EVERY corner, waiting
for the next fool to entice.

The information at the Warrior forum can really
help you, if you know how to eat watermelon and
    spit out the seeds.

Knowledge, Confidence, Willingness to be Coached,
and a FIRE HOT DESIRE to achieve greatness will
catapult you to YOUR top stage...

The reason I mentioned YOUR top stage is
because some get in this business for a simple
and sweet lifestyle change. Some are chasing
a million dollars a month. Some are laser-beam
focused, and have said "to heck with a "four hour
work week", and they have set up a business model
    that rival fortune 500 companies.

So, decide what your top stage is and GO FOR IT
    with MASSIVE and WELL CHOREOGRAPHED
    ACTION!

    Much success, my friend,
    Frank

PS Protect the new IM'er... Feed them (over-delivered)
watermelon with VERY few seeds, if any!

Never refer to yourself as a "noob".....

A "noob" is used only in a bad sense.

A "newb" or "newbie" is someone who sincerely wants to learn.

Where does that come from? It's certainly the first time I've ever heard that.

"Noob"/"noobie" has become a fairly standard US forum spelling of the British equivalent: "newb"/"newbie".

I never know the answer to this. I suspect it's really hard for any of us to know which is going to be better for you to start with (which is obviously what you need to know).

I know nothing about CJ, anyway. I do ClickBank and Amazon.

I started with ClickBank, myself, and I'm glad I did.

They're very, very different indeed in some ways, and they both have a learning curve entirely of their own, but they do have things in common, too.

From the perspective of income, Amazon is probably a "smoother path" for many people, because you're dealing with much higher conversion-rates and smaller commissions, whereas with ClickBank there are some much higher commissions but you won't get the same conversion-rates at all. My guess is that if someone's going to be really easily dispirited and quickly disillusioned, Amazon might make for a more encouraging start? With ClickBank, I think it was over 2 months before I made a sale at all.

If you're interested in Amazon, have a look round the forum for Gaz Cooper's posts: what he doesn't know about it nobody can possibly need to know.

It's probably wise to start with one of them, I think, anyway, rather than both straight away (but you'd already decided this?).

Whatever you do, start building a list straight away.

A couple of posts that might help ... (?) ...
