Amazon Affiliate Dilemmas

As huge as Amazon's affiliate program is, they really need to adjust their 60 day payment period for more people to use it. It's a simple interface, simple to use, but 60 days to pay out? End of May pays at end of July? I really would use it more but I can't project income 60 days from now. It's a huge site with a great infrastructure but they really need to fix the window on payments for affiliates.

    Hello Pamon, the reason they pay out 60 days after is to ensure that people do not return the products. Would be one hell of a hassle to sort out.

    I understand your problem, but if you are that dependent on fast income then perhaps Amazon is not for you.

    Amazon is great once you start getting paid regularly.....that is the key, work with it long enough to get paid regularly.

    As others have said, once you get going, it's awesome. I remember the first two months sucked. However, I've been paid consistently ever month since then. And believe me, it's a REALLY nice chunk of change.

    If you need to make money faster, perhaps you should consider becoming a service provider by ghostwriting or something like that. It's a long-term business model you can use whenever you need money, and you get paid via Paypal. I recommend you check out Ghostwriting Cash by Tiffany Dow and Craig Decorcy.

      Its really only the first few months you have to wait and then they pay every month right on time each and every month.

      Since I live in Thailand and others that live in countries where you can only accept a check, we had to actually wait an additional 2 weeks to get the check then another 6 weeks to deposit it and wait for it to clear

      That was until a couple of months ago when I discovered a way to get my money instantly the moment Amazon paid me YEAHHHH no more waiting an additional 2 months you can check out the post I did about it here on warrior forum

        It's only hard for the first 2 months. Once you get the momentum and making sales constantly, you'll start to make money every month.

          Use your Amazon experience to think outside the box. There are nearly 1 million affiliates in the Amazon program could you target them for a quicker payment ? Most Amazon associates know what they want or are looking for better conversions could you help them ? Use complimentary products to your Amazon sites or try digital products as a short term solution.
