Can anybody share some Paid Survey experience?

I would not recommend it if you want a good reputation with your readers

We have reviewed many of them here and they are mostly contest surveys with no real payments.

I never qualify for them. They send out presurveys to see if you fit the demo. If you dont, you dont get to take the survey.

Avoid them. Whatever you do, dont pay for access to the surveys. Instead, go to digitalpoint and write some articles for people or something. You can make a lot more money than surveys will ever offer you.

I get paid to complete surveys for Buzzback.com. The typical survey pays between $3-$8. I don't consider it an "income opportunity." It's more something to do while I'm waiting for the wife to get ready to go somewhere. While it certainly won't make you rich, it does pay for the occasional coffee or lunch.

The site is free to join and legit. I used to get survey requests from a different site that paid about the same but I haven't heard from them in months.

Thanks for sharing a positive experience since statistics show that 95 to 98 percent of the survey sites are scams or very misleading.

I got an email today from somebody inquiring about surveys and the timing of your post is perfect. Can you tell me if they would be allowed to take more than 1 survey per day. They are a stay at home aprent and a few dollars here and there helps.

then go for it.

That's exactly what you'll get, if your as lucky as Riff.

If you want to earn an income, paid surveys will be the last thing it will ever happen from,
unless you sell the shovel that anyoen can make a lot of money with paid surveys.

Jason, did I not say in my post that it's really just a time killer, something to do when you're in between things? Did I not say I don't consider it an "income opportunity"?

And Craig, to answer your question, as far as I know you can answer as many per day as they send you. The problem is you might only get invited to 3 to 5 per week depending on your demographics. Even then, you only get paid for the ones for which you qualify.

In my experience, paid surveys are not something you can rely on for income. They are something to do to pass time and get paid for it. I could peruse ESPN.com for fifteen minutes or I could complete a survey and get paid a couple bucks for the effort. AND, if I pay attention while completing the survey, I might learn a thing or two about marketing. The value of something isn't always directly correlated to the immediate payoff.

Don't get me wrong -- I'm not trying to champion the cause of paid surveys. Read my original post for comprehension and you'll see that. What I'm saying is this: how many time killers do you get paid for? How many time killers can also be educational? I'm pretty sure we all, Jason included, find ourselves monkeying around on the internet every now and then-- playing games, reading the news, forwarding stupid emails to friends. Paid surveys fall into this category. In that vein, they are a rather productive use of your "slop" time.

Sometimes we need to think before we poo poo things.

I paid $39 to join a pay for surveys site and after reading through the content and trying it for about a month, definitely found it wasn't for me.

The surveys pay very little for the amount of time you must invest to make it worth while.

I suppose it really amounts to what you want to get out of it. If its to work from home - there are far better opportunities. If it is to make a few bucks here and there it might be something to consider.

Thank you all guys for all your feedback. I appreciate it much. Paid surveys are not really that good in helping you earn income online, except for few lucky ones whose geographical location and other factors makes a perfect match to the criterias set by those companies.

The only way you can make decent money online with paid surveys is to promote them to newbies looking to make money online. Basically you would be scamming people, I don't think you want to go down that path.

Paid surveys are actually getting more popular with the recession. People are suspending their skepticism about surveys and other dubious money making schemes. Personally I have never tried them so can't say for sure, but I do promote them via CPA offers and make some nice extra money. The free ones convert the best, obviously, and are easy to promote on youtube.

My wife tried it years ago and the best thing to happen was a free pair of movie tickets and a thing of dish soap.

If you're going to promote it, use a moniker and tell them to open up a new email account.

It's all CPA for the marketer, but the hype around it is wildly false.

I have only found one paid survey organization that actually pays out - PineconeResearch.

They pay out £4 (about $6) for each completed survey.

The down side is they only send out two or three surveys each month.

As regards other survey companies, they either say you are not eligible for the survey, or you have to complete about 100 surveys before they pay out.

I have tried it twice, no pay out to start either time. I seem to get caught in this endless loop of "The next site is where you start getting paid." but I never saw a dime. If there really is something out there that works, I would love to hear about it.

Hi I can't agree with you.Yes, there are survey sites that are scams, but not all of them are.I started that several years ago, an I was scammed, but there are companies that are legitimate.

I do paid surveys all the time, everyday. They pay for my hosting. I do Pinecone Research,Lightspeed panel and testspin to name a few. Never pay to do a survey.

I get a check each month from several paid survey and get paid to companies like clock work. Personally I don't take any surveys. OK, I do take one every now and then when I see something that interests me.

In fact, looking at my stats for one company I see several people below me making over $1,000.00 a month. Big money no. An income no. A nice addition to your regular income? You bet.

You can look at paid surveys in two ways.

1. Make some extra pocket change by taking a few surveys a day.

- or -

2. Promote paid surveys to people that are looking to just make a little extra money a month.

With the recession, paid surveys and get paid to programs are doing great because the majority of people that are interested in them are only looking to supplement their income. Not get rich from it.

I did surveys through a site called "valuedopinions"(I think thats what it was called...). I'm a college student and could not find a part time job, so I gave it a try and was able to make $40 or $50 a week for spending money(this amount is a fortune to college kids).

The problem is is that you do not qualify for a lot of the surveys, and you have to reach a certain money amount in your account in order to receive a check. Also, you get a lot of surveys that do not pay cash, and instead enter you into some kind of sweepstakes or something.

I have since found a job and stopped doing the surveys, since about every minute spent on the web for me is researching on this site and getting my affiliate marketing going.

I believe all 100% of them are scams. Also most of the surveys aren't accurate because people can simply make stuff up. So I guess the whole thing and system tend to fall apart.
