INTERNET MARKETING

Situation : Someone you know is wanting to get in to internet marketing. They have a starting budget of $100 dollars. Within the next 2 weeks they are going to lose their job that pays them roughly $600 a month. If that person needed to create a monthly income of $600 dollars online within the next month-2 months to survive and still be able to pay his/her bills etc. What is the #1 tip you would give them to be successful? What route/strategies would you take?

I will encourage the person to do bum marketing. Bum marketing is free and it gets the person to profit the fastest. Here's the strategy.

1. Create a webpage that reviews 3 products. Host it for free. You can even use a free blog like Blogger to achieve that.

2. Write tons of articles and submit them to EzineArticles, Squidoo, HubPages.

3. Rinse and repeat for other niches.

This is the fastest way to get into profits. This is what I teach my subscribers as well as marketing students.

In internet (for a newbie) 2 months are not enough to earn $600.00.

I suggest offline strategy of developing web sites for local businesses.

  Good tips so far, would you have them avoid any specific markets when just starting out? 2 Months is an unrealistic time period I realize, this is just a big "what if" scenario, even if the person didn't actually achieve that goal, what would you suggest they "attempt" in order to try?

First off, I would make sure that the friend is passionate about internet marketing. If he doesn't have the drive/passion to do this, then chances are he'll starve. For the first 2 days I'd have the friend post his resume as well as apply for jobs everywhere (even min. wage jobs) in the city/town he lives in.

Secondly, I would get the friend started on some bum marketing methods, and get started creating some blogs, whether it be on Blogger or Wordpress.com - the point is to get some backlinks. Take the $100 and get a domain and reseller hosting (or SEOHosting) to build a proper website. Grab some free software like NVU and create the site or slap a free (yet targeted) Wordpress theme on it. Then, as they are building articles and backlinks to this niche site, get them accepted into a few CPA networks, Clickbank, and the AdSense program. I might even consider getting into ZangoCash and an alternative site I know. I'd show him some videos on keyword research and finding "money" keywords. Then have him launch into a few other niches and start generating some more cash.

There'd be a few videos I would show the friend and I'd also have them earning STEADY cash from another method I know, so they'd be guaranteed at least $500-$600 for that month. Plus, they would be earning from hopefully a min.-decent wage job (bringing it up to around $1,000/month).

Throughout the 2 weeks and continuing on, I'd have them getting some organic SEO traffic, and within a month or 2 get them started in PPC.

From there on out, it'd be honing techniques and scaling for profit$.

  and here's a few more ways-
  
  (optional) Get Dragon Naturally Speaking and a headset/mic. Start (uniquely) rewriting PLR articles or ezine articles very quickly without sacrificing content and start cranking out roughly 4-5 articles per hour, and even faster once you get the hang of it. Make 'em 500-600 words.
  
  Join Spucer.com
  and submit 20 articles per day. These can be (unique) rewrites from PLR articles, emphasis on unique since they only pay for unique. If you do this every day for 30 days, you will have made $600, assuming they accept them all.
  
  as well as join Associated Content - associatedcontent.com and submit 5-6 articles per day at AC. Once again, emphasis on unique. The payout is higher for better articles. Offer it as exclusive and up-front payments. Try not to do too broad of niches either, as they will decline it and try to pay you based on views.
  
  Once you've done a few of those, head over to Digital Point (BST section), elance.com, craigslist.com, and getafreelancer.com, and use the articles you wrote (or spoke =)) as sample articles for submission of previous work. Take on a few clients and write articles for them for higher pay, around $4-$5 per article, all the while still submitting some other articles to AC and Spucer.

  I agree with Drew Castle. Also, I would have your friend define their reason "Why". What do they really want" it's going to be freedom in some form or another but if they jump online and think they are going to make money overnight chances are your friend will lose his $100 and start freaking out!
  
  However, if he gets online with an idea of what it is that he is interested in and would really like to pursue that then it is not unreasonable to see your friend start profiting from something he is excited and happy to do. Hope that helps.

To make $600 a month you need to make $20 a day write 4 articles a day for $5 each.

  That would be a very easy way to do it... I think your 600 dollars a month in 2 months is EXTREMELY doable if you get started right way on something that will actually make money.
  
  I think you should do CPA with free traffic sources.... Your 100 dollars will help with little things like if you need to get a domain name or something like that...
  
  Do CPA... Think about it, with click bank products you are going to have to try to SELL something to someone, and you only get paid if a person BUYS something. With CPA you get paid when someone just wants more information about something.

I'll suggest working as a freelance writer if you have basic english skills. I know you clearly mentioned Internet Marketing but this is definitely an option.

To make $600 easily, just provide $1200 - 1800 worth of value.

What you do specifically to provide this value depends on your individual strengths, values, and resources.

I would suggest he promote Adult Friend Finder (which pays $130 a sale) with a review site. I would then suggest he use camtasia or a similar program to do a screen capture video of him actually using AFF to contact hot women (narrating the process as he goes). Now, and this part is somewhat black hat, I would tell him to find a female partner (could be wife, girlfriend, etc) to make sure he gets the kind of response most guys would salivate over. If other guys see our marketer getting lucky with little effort they are much more likely to join.

Then he would both put the video on his site and upload to YouTube along with about 100 other videos that show girls making out (obtained form YT then edited with his website). Not all at once of course, but this tactic is pretty much guaranteed to bring in way more than $600 a month, probably at least that much a week.

That someone who is looking to make $600/month should definitely look in CPA networks or Freebie sites (ex. 40.forcebucks.com, not the best freebie site around) to start making quick income by using his connections. Get friends to signup, and build up. Start networking. In fact, (Blackhat) pay people off to assist you in order for you to get your commissions....

  I got to $1,000 net a day in my first month of work. Granted I researched for a month before that, and average a little less than $1,000 a day net. But this is a real goal.
  
  I would say start with affiliate marketing, but go from offline to online - this is entirely free and while it may not be scalable, one can easily make $600 a month and then transfer that into a coaching program or adwords spending.

Not so sure this is Blackhat, my CPA networks approve this. Azoogle is one of them. Just adding another tier.

I would take a different route. Because time is of essence, I would contact someone whom I know is good at what they do online (i.e., guru, expert, etc.) and get them to agree to share some tips they haven't shared before in an interview and sell that for $17 a pop and have a few backend offers lined up.

This could be done within a week. Not difficult at all but definitely has a huge upside.
