100,000 FB Fans - 3,000 Unique Visits

I just recently hit 100,000 Facebook fans on one of my many Facebook pages and thought it was interesting to share.

For one, it took me almost EXACTLY 1 year to reach this goal. Which to me is amazing because I didn't think I'd be at this level within 1 year.

It's now June 6th, 2012 and I've managed to keep my fans interactive on the page, constantly pushed them to visit new sites I create, I've made a lot of money from them using almost every method possible. And I've learned a few amazing things.

Here's a few things that I learned from MY fans. This doesn't relate to every Facebook page on the internet or Facebook in general, just the fans that I accumulated.

What I Learned

1. My fans love to click the like button on images more than videos.

2. They vote aggressively, which made me think about sending them to polls that redirect to offers.

3. When I send them to websites they are instantly active and sometimes leave hundreds of comments and likes.

4. They LOOVE to participate in contests and events.

5. The secret to gaining fans is by getting a higher viral reach. I found that when I shared things that were simple, the viral reach went through the ceiling. When things got complicated, it was dismal.



6. It's all about staying simple.

7. Controversy is my biggest selling point in my industry.

8. The fans like to actually interact with me as a person, versus just as a page.

9. I've been able to use my current page to create new pages, which have made more money via a single status update than my large page. Reason being is because they were extremely targeted and found the new page as "new" which lead them to the sale.

10. CPA's work wonders.

11. PPC does okay.

12. Affiliates make me big $$.

13. But the best source of income was from creating my own products.


Just remember, keep it simple. Don't hassle your fans constantly to try and make a profit, you have to nurture them.
