just advertise your affiliate program on related sites. You can also get a lot of affiliates by promoting your affiliate program to your customers.

Also interview and build relationships with other people in that niche.

How about launch your software as a WSO and launch it through Warriorplus?

You could get more affiliates trough W+ than Clickbank.

I agree with nicholasb. The best way is to indeed advertise about them. I have had the best results with forum marketing.
Article marketing for this is slow and it takes time.

Before you even find affiliates make sure your product converts. Do some paid marketing to test your conversion rates. You will then be able to use this as an incentive to get affiliates.

Once you get your product created, and have a proven
conversion, then you can announce your product in countless
places including groups set up on Facebook just for that
purpose.

There are groups on all of the platforms, including Skype,
that you can join and then announce a new product launch.

Just ask around when you are ready.

You need to launch, and to have success, before you find affiliates.

There'd be no point in committing yourself to the entire "finding affiliates" process without first having a product proven to convert targeted traffic, because even if you could manage to find any affiliates without having that, you'd neither keep them nor get any sales through them.

Don't imagine that "having affiliates" is a solution to "making sales".

"Having a good product and a good sales page and process and proven conversions" is the way to make sales. Having affiliates, after that, is simply a commission-only-based way of buying the traffic you already know you can convert.
