I am trying to figure out a way to get potential customers to respond to offers. I want to raise some money to complete a project (which is to produce a product for an untapped market).

From my understanding, my videos are good and get the point across directly that the customer needs to engage in the untapped market or get left behind. This would involve risk though but the rewards would be "huge".

Again, I have been told over and over that the videos convey this message successfully. The thing is I want them to go with me and not X when considering tools to approach this market.

My thought was to offer something that would mitigate the risk and say "We have sent this message out to 1800 potential customers. Out of this number, we are seeking 5 customers to beta test this feature that will allow one to access this market with reduced risk."

Does this sound like something that would work?

Sure offering a limited amount of anything usefully works, providing a market is there for your service/product.

I'm not sure what kind of service or product you are offering, but in many instances offering a limited availability of a product/service can be effective in generating potential customers. Best of luck to you!

I don't think you will appeal to anyone with that approach.

To me it looks like your proposal is just vagueness shrouded in obscurity surrounded by obfuscation.

If you want to say something why not just say it? We're not talking about missile launch codes are we?

      Try something like this:

"I need to raise some money. Today.

And that is good news for you. Why?

      Because I'm ready to deal..."

Sounds good, but what is your product and how do you want to promote your video are two key points. Do you try with some video sharing sites, or simply put that to your website?

Thanks all for the responses. The video is to be sent as part of an email with a tagline. The tagline seems to work. According to Amazon S3 stats, the people look at it. Just wanted some kind of way to get them to respond quickly.
