What are the best or very well know design Forums?

Hi
My friends is a great graphic designer. She was working for a design company and after hearing about freelancing she decided to earn money through freelancing through her designs.
Now she needs to improve his skills and to get in touch with the most updated ideas, tools, designs etc.

Could any one recommend me any great design forums?

Also she knows, Photoshop, Illustrator, Coreldraw, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Adobe Premiere, Sony Sound Forge, Adobe After Effect, 3d Max, Maya etc..

What are the possibilities to make money with these skills .
